Cosy spacious Chalet Experience. Beautiful views.

This three level home is great for large family groups. It has a wonderful open plan lounge and dining area with a modern spacious kitchen for those family dinners. The lounge has large windows that allow you views over the Hanmer village which is beautiful when the snow is falling and across to the hills with the sunlight providing ever changing vistas. Sit comfortably by the log fire while you watch Sky TV with sports and movie channels or a DVD for those movie nights to keep the kids entertained.
This home has an outside seating area to sit around and have a few drinks. Relax while cooking the BBQ on those hot sunny summer nights with great indoor outdoor flow from the kitchen and dinning room, providing ease of catering.
This property is situated in an area of natural beauty. Tracks which cater for the gentle stroll to a good work out, a gentle bike ride to mountain biking on the numerous forest tracks, swimming, shopping, golf, skiing and eating out. If you get a chance, check out the beautiful Clarence River Valley over Jacks Pass. .

The house was a great size and pleasantly quirky but was let down by the lack of cleaning. I don't think it had been cleaned between stays apart from maybe a vacuum. Also the bbq was not usable.

Large homely place for all of us to be able to mix but also have are own space if needed . Heat pumps and fire great as was winter, plenty of wood available but could do with a sharper axe. Lived the views with snow on the mountains

Large and superbly located Hanmer house

Superbly spacious and toasty warm with great views over the town. An easy walk to the pools and the shops plus very close to the start of the Conical Hill walkway. Thank you.

Great house for extended family groups with loads of space. Close to all hanmer attractions so dont need to drive once here. Kids love it. Have stayed before house wasn't as clean as last time.

The house is good and solid, a little hard to find if you’re not familiar with the street.Log fire is amazing and very warm but it would have been nice to have matches and a bit of paper to help start it.A little over priced for what you get.

This cosy spacious house has everything you need for a great weekend. Great views and great location, clean and comfortable beds. Biggest disadvantage is that there was no coffee plunger (or at least we did not find one).

Great place plenty of room for everyone . Not heaps of parking at house. Couldnt get in touch with host. Never received the key code. And would recommend a frying pan to add to cupboard

Hard to find at night,carpet seam coming apart,no handle on fire place, broken dishwasher and plug socket,BBQ handles missing and very mouldy,beer fridge mouldy,oven dirty,fry pans beyond cleaning, broken fold out couch, broken glass outside, kitchen blind falls off, house is generally in a tired condition,cleaning lady waiting/staring before we had to leave ,we won't be booking this property again

Comms with property manager was terrible waited an hour and a half once arriving anf had to ring booka back to eventually get the code to get in. Property was not very clean on arrival and bbq was also filthy So didnt even use.outdoor area needs some attention. Outdoor umbrella was broken. No hand soaps in the bathrooms.hand rails need nails hit back in. Other than need that stuff property layout worked well. I have seen similar comments in the other reviews.

Location of property was good.I don’t normally complain about properties we stay in but this one was shocking.Cleanliness was disgusting.Oven trays in oven hadn’t been cleaned from last guests, mouse poo in kitchen cupboard. A loaf of bread in store cupboard was mouldy from previous guests. Frypans were disgusting rust and Teflon coming off.BBQ not cleaned. Mouldy windows all downstairs. Items were left in the fridge an insulin pen.Whoever cleans this house should not have a job there it has made me wonder if a cleaner actually cleaned it from the last guests.Will not stay there again.

Very good. We all settled in quite well (eight of us). Very comfortable. the Kitchen could do with a bowl. I had to make pancakes mix in a pot. Not a big deal, otherwise very good experience.

Pleasant and enjoyment with one little hiccup.

The property is located in a prime spot with a view, close to town and is very nice on the inside. The only thing wrong was we had was no hot water for the first night but the property manager called someone in straight away to fix it. Turns out the hot water cylinder got turned off by accident. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would gladly come back.

Poppas 80th! A great venue for a family , very warm, cosy, and lovely views.

perfect for large groups and we could see it could sleep up to 16 people. Needs better signage. Both the caterer and our group struggled to find 28! Would recommend to others.

Perfect for groups with children

Great place to stay with our 5 grandchildren, they absolutely loved the house and we enjoyed hype time out while they played hide and seek, perfect for us with the grandchildren .
