About the host

Host profile image
Hi my name is Chris! I designed and built this house in 2011, some of my paintings are also featured in the house. My family and I have spent a lot of time there, we enjoy taking walks at the national park and experiencing the natural environment around us.

Why they chose this property

The area has a lot of native wildlife and plants, perfect to enjoy a relaxing escape from city life. There are nearby markets, like St Andrew’s Market and berry picking which makes for a great time with family and friends!

What makes this property unique

The house has been built since 2011, I’ve used a lot of recycled materials and locally source stone to construct the house. It is a short walk to the National Park entrance, a two minute drive from the town centre, a great location and cosy environment inside the house.
