As the owner, I personally engage with all guests to ensure your experience is effortless, smooth, and full of joy. You will feel prepared, supported, and welcomed — before, during, and after your stay. Because North Captiva is a boat-access-only island, arrival planning is an important part of the experience. We’re here to guide you every step of the way so everything feels easy and seamless.

Our property managers will greet you upon arrival, assist with luggage and groceries, and help you get settled comfortably into the home. Complimentary luggage assistance is included when arriving via our preferred ferry provider, Island Girl Charters, with arrivals scheduled prior to 5:30 PM.

Arrivals after 5:30 PM or those using alternate ferry providers (including North Captiva Island Club ferry) may incur a $75 luggage assistance fee. Departure assistance is complimentary between 9:00 AM–3:00 PM; earlier departures may also incur a $75 fee.

North Captiva is a truly special and peaceful destination, intentionally slower-paced and wonderfully “old Florida.” It’s important when booking ferries or excursions to ensure they specifically service North Captiva, as it is a separate island from Captiva with different logistics.

Our family of 10 just returned from our week at Sea La Vie. We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was the perfect spot for us! Right on the calmest beach but minutes from the beautiful gulf beach. Home was super clean. Beds were so comfortable. Everything you would need is right there! I highly recommend this vacation home but save a week for me!

We visited Sea La Vie for our family vacation during the week of Spring Break and had an amazing stay. The property is beautiful and in an astonishing location right on the beach. Gorgeous sunrise views from the house and some of the best dolphin watching I’ve ever experienced. The house was clean and better than described. Both the owners and the property management team were incredibly helpful, respectful and responsive. Cannot recommend this property enough and we will definitely be returning in the future!

This was the perfect stay for our family vacation. Everything from the comfy beds to the private beach felt so luxurious! Highlights included seeing dolphins every day, the many games/activities (kayaking and Yahtzee was the kids' favorite), access to the pool club, and most of all the sunrises and sunsets. Leslie was the ultimate super host and very responsive to our needs. Would book Sea La Vie again!

Family vacation on the beach

Excellent place to stay with something for all ages. We had a wonderful time -right on the beach. The owner was great in helping organize every step of the trip to have it go smooth. Her personal contact was great and thoughtful. The house is beautiful and everything thought of that we could want. It was unanimous that we want to return! Our stay was exceptional! Leslie provided excellent planning tools well ahead of our arrival and was quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay! The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and packed full of amenities for a comfortable stay. During our stay, Shally’s Seashells property management was so helpful and responsive and such a great resource for our group! It is just footsteps off the deck to a private beach and the daily dolphin and manatee sightings was a special treat. We would love to visit the North Captiva Island Sea La Vie home again!

This place is simply wonderful! We spent Christmas with our family, and it was perfect for the 10 of us. Leslie (the homeowner) was SO amazing to work with. She made us feel right at home and provided us with pretty much everything we would need! The views, the wildlife, the shells…all of it was spectacular! We hope to visit again soon!

It was more than you imagine. With a 4 year old, the water was not the big breaking waves were perfect for him to sit and play and he was able to interact with the adults. The house was beautiful. It was clean, and had anything you would need. The owner contacted us on Tuesday to make sure all was good. It does take some planning to get there and getting groceries there. The property managers are really helpful with helping get what you need. Our family would definitely stay again.

Everything was great at Sea La Vie! We had everything we needed between beach items to use, the 2 golf carts and a well stocked kitchen. It was nice to have extras like the beach chairs, umbrella, games, corn hole, ice maker etc. We really enjoyed the house and it was obvious the owners want their guests to feel comfortable and at home. We would love to return sometime and recommend Sea La Vie to others wanting a nice family vacation house on beautiful North Captiva.

We had the BEST week ever at Sea La Vie on North Captiva Island! I would absolutely recommend this spot, the perfect location for family. We saw beautiful sunrises, so many shells, starfish, dolphins and manatees. My son and husband enjoyed fishing off shore and we used the kayaks provided. Leslie was wonderful to work with, she took care of everything and the house was beautiful and organized with everything you need for a great stay. It really doesn’t get much better than this, we can’t wait to go back to this little slice of heaven!

Magical Stay in Heaven

From my communication with Leslie and the rental company, to the ease of ordering groceries, and the tranquility brought on from the moment we stepped on the island this was the easiest and best vacation my family and I have ever had. I wish I had words to describe every single moment of the week we spent at Sea La Vie! The experience of having a PRIVATE beach area all to ourselves, having someone meet us at the dock and load/ unload our suitcases into the house, walking into an immaculate house that was stocked with the groceries we picked out, having a private chef in a FULLY STOCKED kitchen left my family and I not wanting anything else in a dream vacation. Each bedroom has everything you need for your stay, there are so many beach towels, and everything inside and outside the house is in wonderful condition. Leslie and her family put so much thought into everything in and around the property to ensure that you will have your dream vacation!!!

The house and location are beautiful. We rode the golf cart around the island daily and went to mangos for ice cream several times while we were there. My husband and sons caught tons of fish while my daughter and I explored with the kayaks or laid out in the sun. Communication with the owner (Leslie) was wonderful. She contacted me about a month prior to our vacation and kept in contact with me throughout. She answered all of my questions and even ordered a game I had asked about and had it at the house for our stay! North Captiva is definitely somewhere we will go again and it was one of our favorite family vacations

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Sea La Vie. The home is perfectly positioned beachfront with almost complete privacy. The water is full of sea life and beautiful shells. The logistics of an island vacation where a quick trip to a grocery store is impossible were made easy by the owners recommendations. Grocery delivery by Debbie was extremely helpful. The two golf carts provided also gave us the ability to explore the island and even pick up a paddle board for the week from Boats n fun. Five stars for Sea La Vie!

Wonderful week at Sea La Vie

Our family had a wonderful week at Sea La Via! Can't say enough good things! It is a beautiful house with amazing views including picturesque sunrises and dolphin sitings right off your own private beach. Leslie, the owner, couldn't be a better host. Very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful and informative. All of her recommendations were spot on from getting to the island, to groceries, etc. Tortuga, the management company, also made the arrival and departure process go very smoothly and was available if we needed anything while on the island. Paradise about sums it up! Would love to go back!

We have been traveling to North Captiva as a guest for several years as our family also has a another home here. We fell in love with the unique paradise qualities of the island. After many times of house hunting, we found our perfect home. For us, being able to walk out our front door and step directly on the beach is the best retreat. We are a family of 6 and now 3 of our 4 kids are adults. We are so thrilled to be able to gather here as a family and are excited to be able to share this home with others.

Why they chose this property

This property just stood out from the rest. Why else come to an island than to have unobstructed views of the beautiful beach and serene waters. We felt right at home with how open and bright the home feels. There is a comforting and peaceful essence to the home and you can not find a better view from any level. Walking out your front door and right to the beach was a top priority. Plus, I loved the island pink color!

What makes this property unique

Unique to our part of the island is the private beach. Here no one can camp out other than your group. We also have dolphin and manatee sightings almost daily. We take pristine care of our home and you get a very safe and well appointed home and top shape golf carts.
