Summer retreat

The property is lovely with quality appliances, towels and bedding. Very nice view down the canyon to the water. We could see Santa Cruz Island everyday and even watched the fireworks over the harbor from the couch on July 4th. Our elementary aged kiddos loved the close access to the Botanical Garden and Inspiration point trailhead. The property is very quiet and feels totally secluded despite being only a few minutes to restaurants. We hope to be back soon!

Great Escape

Loved our month long stay at this lovely remote, but convenient, mid century modern home. Morning coffee with Ocean views and evenings around the firepit are perfect way to relax and access Santa Barbara. Toto smart toilet was a real plus. Kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms very comfortable. We plan to return. Couple small points. AC works well, but sounds like a jet engine when kicking on at night. It also needs balancing to cool all bedrooms and office evenly. Needed fan in back bedroom. Night stands are low and small making them awkward to access.

Ocean Views, Peaceful, Hiking nearby, Stylish Stay

The ViewPoint house is so peaceful, situated up the Mission Canyon hills yet really close to town and Doordash friendly. Hiking trailheads are nearby (walkable) and connect to several more above SB. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front deck taking in the gorgeous canyon and channel islands view. The Botanical Garden is a block away! Loved walking down there and wandering the paths and redwood grove. The home itself is lovely, very comfortable, stylish furnishings and A+ kitchen. We camped ourselves on the luxurious sofa and Eames chair. As AirBnb hosts in Oregon, we are pretty particular. You will see the thought and consideration given through the design choices, artwork, and amenities. Noteworthy bonus... the bountiful lemon tree out back. Very tasty lemonade! Thanks so much for sharing your magical home in the hills. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!
