We were two families renting and appreciated the amount of bedrooms offered and amount of beds. We found everything we needed in the kitchen while cooking. Cleaning up after meals was easy with the dishwasher available. The fire pit was great for campfire s'mores with plenty of firewood available. We would have liked a bigger grill outside, but made do without one. The hot tub was a great way to end the night. The host left simple instructions. Check out was super easy. The entire property is well maintained and clean.

If you're looking for a secluded place close to garden of the gods, we highly recommend this property. The house is big, clean and has some very nice amenities. The owners were also very nice and accessible.

Nice property and good location

Our family had a nice stay at the property. It’s in a great location to explore the Shawnee area. We had a good recommendation for dinner from Elizabeth to visit E town river restaurant and had a great time there. The house was very nice and very clean. Thanks for the great time!

The house was perfect for what we were looking for: quiet and secluded with lots of room to roam. The layout is nice and spread out, and being able to do laundry for our muddy kids was great. We will come back someday for sure!

Vacation get away from Chicago

Amazing place peaceful and quiet. Owner is super friendly, went hiking and fishing. Stores for food are not far there is bobs and Walmart for food which are only 30 minutes away from house definitely worth it will be back again!
