The hosts live on site with a small friendly dog, and will be there to help but also ensure your maximum privacy.

We spent a lovely night in Mangawhai. The host was very friendly and helpful, setting up the fire pit for us to use when we were out exploring. Directions were clear and there were lots of beautiful little touches, like a cheese plate ready for us and the ability to throw together a breakfast or supper as needed. There were even marshmallows for hot chocoloate or the fire pit! Our only concern was not with the property or the hosts, but with the Expedia/VRBO comms, which failed to provide the necessary gate code, sent us through an online chat agent loop of doom, and made it almost impossible to contact the hosts directly.
