All about the outdoor space

Family and friends holiday in August. Outdoor space was the highlight for us, kitchen, lounge area and pool. Brétignolles is a short walk away with decent restaurants and cafes. Sea slightly further but still worth a visit.

We were a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 11,8&4 plus 2 grandparents. We timed our visit with a heatwave and Caja Villa was just perfect. It was so well stocked with everything we could have needed. The pool and pool area were a godsend in the heat and the kids had a wonderful time playing in the large garden (pétanque, table tennis, table football). The owner and host were both easy to communicate with and really helpful. The layout of the house was also great with bedrooms at one end and living area at the other. With young kids they could get up early and not disturb others who were sleeping. The location was great and the town was lovely. We unfortunately needed to use the medical centre but it was a great experience and the cycle to the bakery at Place des Halles each morning was a joy. It was very quiet and peaceful location and felt very secure with the big gates and long gravel drive. We would definitely recommend Caja Villa and the kids are keen to return already!
