We had a wonderful stay over the weekend. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, making everything smooth from booking to check-out. The property was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into providing all the essentials and creating a welcoming environment. Highly recommend and would happily stay again!

Hi, I’m based in Sydney and I have always enjoyed creating peaceful places for people to relax and reconnect with nature. Around 12 years ago I started hosting guests at my beachfront property in Sri Lanka, and after seeing how much people appreciated quiet natural surroundings, I decided to build a similar style retreat in Batemans Bay.

This property was designed to give guests the feeling of staying in a private bush retreat while still being very close to town, restaurants, beaches, and local attractions. I enjoy hosting people from different backgrounds and creating a place where families and groups can slow down, enjoy nature, and spend quality time together.

Why they chose this property

I chose Batemans Bay because it offers a unique combination of nature, water views, and convenience. The property is surrounded by peaceful Australian bushland with beautiful gum trees and natural scenery, yet it is only a short drive to the town centre, beaches, cafes, and shops.

What I enjoy most about the area is the balance between relaxation and accessibility. You can wake up to birds and nature, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and still easily head into town for dining, boating, beaches, or exploring the South Coast. The elevated setting also provides beautiful views towards the bay and surrounding landscape.

This is a very unique property for Batemans Bay because it combines the feeling of a private nature retreat with the convenience of being close to town. The home sits on a large bushland property surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and secluded atmosphere that is difficult to find so close to the CBD area.

Large windows and outdoor areas allow guests to enjoy the surrounding bush setting and views.
