Welcome to your quiet secluded getaway on beautiful Spider Lake, a 450-acre all-sports lake less than 20 minutes from Traverse City. This one bedroom with a loft offers the perfect blend of up north charm and modern comfort. The cottage sits on a private road and on 1.9 wooded acres, with easy level access to 80 feet of shoreline and a dock and boathouse.

The cottage offers recreation and relaxation. Guests can enjoy eating meals on the deck with gorgeous views of the lake, fishing off the dock, paddling the shoreline with the included kayaks, paddleboat, paddleboard, and canoe, relaxing in a hammock under the pines, sounds of nature and wildlife sightings, beautiful sunsets, roasting s’mores at the firepit, and stargazing.

The cottage also offers wonderful lake views from the living room, skylights, and a dedicated workspace.

Our stay at this home on spider Lake was wonderful! The house was fully stocked, very clean, and very cozy! The beds were very comfortable linens very soft, perfect for a good night sleep after a day on the lake. The outdoor deck was very nice. Had a table to sit in and a nice sectional with table. What absolutely stay there again.

It was an incredible experience, the house was very beautiful and clean, even though I had taken everything I needed from my house, it was useless because there was everything and my little dog was very happy, everything looked more perfect than in the pictures, it was a little expensive, we will come back again on our next vacation.

Cute little cottage, fully stocked. Don’t expect to swim from “beach area/dock”. There are lots of accumulated leaves. Second day found out from owners that live next door that there is a large snapping turtle. The turtle did frequent while there. Overall a wonderful place just plan on swimming at sandbar mid lake.

We enjoyed our stay at Spider Lake. We are a family of four (two teenagers) and were able to bring our two dogs. The cabin was clean and we really enjoyed the hosts giving us access to the paddle boat, paddle board, and kayaks. The cabin does not have air and it was quite warm the days we visited but the lake provided a nice cool breeze as well as the host providing really nice fans. It is a short 25-ish min drive to Traverse City which was really easy and there you can get your tourist fix. Definitely try Milk and Honey for some ice cream in TC and Peegeo's for pizza near SL!
