The Home

Big windows, mountains out front, light coming in from every angle. This place has a good feel to it from the moment you walk in. The kitchen and dining area is open and easy to cook in, there`s a separate lounge to sink into at the end of the day, and the heat pumps mean you`ll be comfortable whether there`s snow on the ground or it`s the middle of summer.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Sleeps ten across four bedrooms including a bunk room. The master has its own ensuite, and there`s a bathroom and separate toilet for everyone else.

Outside

Loads of space out here. The section is private and well set back from the road, with room to park the car, the boat, the campervan, whatever you`ve brought. The double garage is handy for ski gear and bikes.

You`re a few minutes drive out of town:

~5 min drive to Wanaka township, lake, cafés & restaurants
~43 min drive to Cardrona Alpine Resort
~44 min drive to Treble Cone
~1 hr drive to Queenstown Airport

Access
The whole place is yours; house and garage.

Guests have access to the whole house, including the garage.

A lockbox is available for guests, and access details will be sent 24 hours before check-in for a smooth, stress-free arrival.

I respect the privacy of my guests but remain readily available to address any enquiries. Occasionally, I may stop by simply to ensure that everyone is enjoying their stay.
OUR STRICT HOUSE RULES

No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm
As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.

Minimum age requirement
Guests must be 25 years or older to book this property. The primary guest making the reservation must be staying at the property for the full duration of the booking and may be asked to provide valid identification for verification purposes.

No parties without prior approval
Any gatherings or events require prior approval. Unauthorised parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund. Please note there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approval has been granted.

Checkout is at 10:00 am
We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are strictly subject to availability.

No smoking inside the property
Smoking, including the use of any recreational drugs, is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the property.

Shoes
This is a strictly no-shoes house. Please remove all footwear before entering the property.

Garage
The garage is not available for guest use. The driveway provides ample parking space for vehicles, boats, and trailers.

Leave the property in a reasonable state
We expect the property to be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond standard procedures will be charged at $60 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. Where necessary, guests will be responsible for replacement or professional cleaning costs.

Board Games (if applicable)
We love that guests enjoy the games provided, however please ensure all games are returned to their original boxes before departure. Reassembling games can be time-consuming, and a $60 fee will apply if our cleaner is required to do this.

BBQ cleaning
The BBQ and all utensils must be thoroughly cleaned after each use. Failure to do so will result in a $100 cleaning charge.

Breakages and loss
Please treat and respect our property as if it were your own. If anything is damaged, broken, or lost during your stay, please either arrange for replacement/repair or notify the Property Manager immediately so arrangements can be made.

Bathroom
Please do not use the toilet for disposal of sanitary products, tampons, nappies, wipes, or any other unsuitable items, as this may cause plumbing blockages that cannot be quickly resolved.
Please always turn on the light/extractor fan when using the shower to ensure adequate ventilation.

Carpet stains and furniture damage
If professional cleaning is required due to stains or spills on carpets, rugs, or furniture (including coffee, wine, food, or other substances), the cost of cleaning will be charged back to the guest.

Skis, snowboards, and outdoor equipment
Skis, snowboards, boots, and any other sports, boating, or fishing equipment must be stored in the garage only. Please do not wear ski boots or outdoor footwear on carpeted areas at any time.

Ski waxing
Do not wax or service skis or snowboards anywhere inside the property. Local providers including Outside Sports, Base, and Racers Edge offer professional ski and snowboard maintenance services.
