About this property

Modern & Spacious Holland home with a hot tub, pool table, fire pit and more!


Holland Hideaway is the perfect destination to spend time with family or friends creating lasting memories! Our renovated and spacious home has a comfy feel with a modern spin. The lower level offers a large open living space including a well appointed kitchen, dining area that seats 12+ using the large gathering table and island. Attached 3 season porch welcomes you for your morning cup of coffee or after dinner glass of wine. This is also where you find the all season hot tub. For sleeping, the lower level includes a large master bedroom suite with a king size bed, and a bunk room with a twin over full set up.

The upper level is a large family room with a television, fireplace, arcade basketball game and lots of room for playing any of the many board games provided. Adjacent to this family room are 3 large bedrooms; 2 with queen size beds (one of these had attached full bathroom) and one with 4 twin beds.

The garage has been converted to a game room/bar area. Here you can cap off your day playing pool, watching a sporting event, or visiting with friends. Open the garage door on a nice day, and spread out the lawn chairs on the driveway to expand the "Man-Cave" or "She-Shed." The backyard is equipped with a built-in firepit and numerous Adirondack chairs. If you have little ones in your group, you'll appreciate the play structure we've provided for them :)

If you plan to venture out, this area of Michigan has so much to offer! The city of Holland itself has it all, from boutiques, restaurants, shopping and hiking, along with numerous fun festivals scattered throughout the year. Our home is perfectly located to enjoy the surrounding cities West Michigan has to offer. We are only 15 minutes from Saugatuck, 30 minutes from South Haven, 30 minutes from Grand Haven and 45 minutes from Grand Rapids and Grand Rapids Airport! Lake Macatawa is at the end of the street where you can rent all kinds of watercraft to spend the day on the lake (pontoon boats, speedboats, kayaks, standup paddle boards and more!) Our home itself is located in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for walking or running, or venture to the Sanctuary Woods Preserve located a short distance from our doorstep for a beautiful day of hiking. In under 10 minutes, you can be at Laketown Beach on Lake Michigan to spend the day in the sun or bring a bottle of wine and catch the perfect sunset! We are looking forward to hosting your next adventure at our cozy hideaway in beautiful Holland Michigan!

Please be conscientious about use of the hot tub and follow all of the rules posted near it. NO MORE than 5 people in the tub at one time.
EARLY CHECK IN: with preapproval (and upon availability). $50 for noon arrival and $25 for 2 pm arrival. Ask owner.

What a beautiful home! Check in was smooth. House was clean and welcoming. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Lots space for eating, gathering, and playing games. The hot tub and pool table were both put to good use.

The house was perfect for our family and Gayle was overly accommodating to all of our needs! The large space, many bedrooms, and fun activities made it that much more special to spend time together. We have properties in multiple states, yet Michigan is our home :) We love sharing comfortable spaces with people so that they too can make memories where you can feel right at home!

Why they chose this property

We chose this specifically because it is updated and modern, but mostly because we love getting as many of our family members together at one time as possible. This home has the capacity to accommodate large groups both inside and out. We love playing yard games in the spacious, shaded back yard while grilling and lounging in the hammocks. When it gets dark, we all sit around the bonfire. And when we're inside, we can all gather in the open floor plan - kitchen, dining and living room area all 'one' so something for everyone all within the same area!
