The condo was as advertised and the location was perfect. Our only complaint is that we could not turn off sub titles on the tv, but otherwise we had a fantastic experience.

The location and amenities of the property were wonderful! I would stay here again! The condo was very clean, with a well-stocked kitchen, and was comfortable. In the heart of downtown, we walked to the restaurants, shopping, and farmer's market.

Very centrally located which makes walking to restaurants easy. Unit was clean, furnished well and the kitchen had everything one would need. We enjoy the building and the ski locker amenity. Our visit was perfect.

Disliked: Communication
Certainly clean & nice, but the mandatory contract terms were unacceptable, stating that host & representatives were not liable for anything and could not be sued. Contract was sent several days after deposit was made. A/C was out during our stay and unit became very warm. Host informed us of the issue 1 hr before check in and demanded a decision on take it or cancel. Was not much available in Steamboat that was acceptable at the last minute. We love Howelsen Place but would have enjoyed a more customer friendly engagement.

Thanks so much. We always send our rental agreement at the time of booking (it auto-sends) and will let folks out of the agreement within the first 72 hrs of booking if they disagree. The AC for that building unfortunately went down the week of your visit. The HVAC professionals the building hired kept telling us it was just replacing one part and the fix would take 1 day....sadly that was not the case for your visit. We wanted for you to be as comfortable as possible so wanted it to be your choice to stay at the property or find something else. Our apologies that things just didn't quite line up for your stay!

Excellent summer stay

Great location!

Enjoyed are stay. Location was great right in downtown. Wonderful farmers market on the weekend was right outside the rental. Lots of wonderful restaurants.

Steamboat visit

The property was perfect for our short stay in Steamboat. Location near the Yampa and dining on Lincoln is why we always look to stay at properties in Howlisen place. The unit was clean, well equipped and very quiet.

Excellent stay!

Two buddies and myself stayed at this property while in town skiing Steamboat. A free city bus picks up right outside the place making for super easy access. We loved everything about the apartment! Very nice
