Howelsen Place 201A
My son and I loved our stay at Howelsen 201A. It was a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. The location could not be any better. Great shops and restaurants right outside your door. Don't miss the Farmer's Market on Saturdays. The condo have a small deck - still nice to sit outside. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. We did use the air conditioning and we were glad we had it - it was pretty hot outside. The bed and pillows were so comfortable in the bedroom. I called Steamboat Lodging to see where I could get the pillows and they quickly contacted the owner and was able to send me a link to purchase them on Amazon. The bed does take up most of the bedroom which was fine except I kept running into the frame of the bed as it stook out passed the bed. After running into it three times, I finally remembered to take a wide turn around the frame. Steamboat Loding Co was very prompt, communication was outstanding and would absolutely recommend them highly as well as this property. Thank you all!

Spring Break vacation
My two sons and I stayed at Howelson place for spring break. Howelson place has always been our favorite place to stay when we visit steamboat. It is really nice and comfortable. Walking distance to everything including the bus pick up for skiing. We even got picked up at Howson place by Saddleback Ranch to do some snowmobiling. we love all the restaurants close by and enjoy the shopping. We’ve been coming to steamboat for about eight years now and always stay at Howson Place. This unit was perfect for all three of us.

Enjoyed our stay at Howelsen Place!
We enjoyed our stay at Howelsen Place and would stay there again. We liked the convenience of the location, ease of using the Free Bus, and a feeling of safety/security. A201 had all we needed, including reliable cable for watching the Australian Open and NFL playoffs. Important to note that the setup is not ideal for two people working remotely, but The Commons Food Hall across 7th Street stands in nicely in a pinch, as does the Emerald coffee house on 7th Street! This unit is not owner managed so expectations must be lowered a bit in regard to fit and finish. That said, we would score this unit high in regard to VRBOs that are third party managed.

Great accommodations and location
I ski, my wife doesn’t. Having a central downtown location was perfect for her and thanks to the Express Buses to the resort I was on the mountain first thing each morning. I really can’t say enough about the location and its proximity to great restaurants, shopping and galleries. It’s perfect. The condo is very nice and cozy. Everything is perfectly maintained. The kitchen is fine but the management company cleans it out after every visit and while you will find salt and pepper in the cupboards and that is about it besides clean dishes. But who stays in downtown Steamboat and wants to cook a big meal anyway? It was just fine for us. The logistics of checking in were okay but read the instructions thoroughly. The parking garage is located in a different building than the condo and if you travel heavy expect to haul some luggage a fair distance. There are luggage carts in the condo entrance that help a lot. An unsung perk of the condo is the private ski locker at the resort. It has boot driers and locked storage for 2-3 sets of skis or snowboards. It was REALLY nice to have and avoid lugging gear around. I would definitely recommend the place and stay again.

Wonderful!
This place was just as listed! The location was the best we could have asked for, and so convenient to most everything! The condo itself was very clean, nicely decorated and stocked, and had the best HOT water coming in from a day out in the cold. We had a wonderful stay and cannot say enough great things about Steamboat Lodging! They are the nicest and most helpful people we have ever dealt with while traveling! We will definitely choose this place and Steamboat Lodging for a return trip!

Great weekend getaway!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful relaxing weekend in Steamboat, and the property was in a perfect location for walking around town to all the best local shops and restaurants. We both would love to stay again.

Great downtown location
The condo was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There is covered parking and the building is well maintained. There is a rooftop patio that is a nice hangout spot with good views. Management provided information on local amenities. We loved being able to walk right out the door and stroll along the Yampa river and enjoy the shops and restaurants. The farmer’s market has wonderful local treats and crafts. Definitely recommend this place.

Clean and quiet
Very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. Super quiet even though right in the heart of downtown. There is no window in the bedroom, which can be good or bad, depending on what you like. The patio isn’t very usable, so we took our snacks and drinks to the rooftop patio at the building next door, which has a lovely view.

Awesome location!
Wonderful location right in the heart of everything--only a few blocks to a natural foods store, ebike/bike rentals, the river, 8 miles bike trail, mountain/town free shuttle, coffee shops and restaurants, and anything you'd want to do in town. The kitchen was invaluable, the place was well appointed and very clean, and the staff was attentive before our trip, during, and after. Also, for someone who is chemically and smell sensitive they let us know that they didn't use any strong smelling cleaners and even left the window open to air the place before we arrived.

We had a great stay in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The condo was immaculate and so much attention to detail. The location was perfect for walking distance to all of downtown steamboat springs. I would recommend this for anyone Looking for a great location in downtown.

Exactly As Advertised
The property was exactly as advertised and met my needs and expectations perfectly. Condo is 1/2 block from express bus (between condo and ski mountain, only two stops between), 1/2 block from Lincoln Street (the main road in downtown Steamboat), and as such a short walk from many excellent restaurants (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Use of the 14" x 14" x 8' tall ski locker (inside heated secured locker room) directly at Gondola square was fantastic! I left all my ski equipment and clothing the locker each night, super convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay! Good instructions of where to park and how to enter the building. Great location to all downtown bars and restaurants. O'Neill's was our favorite and Winona's for breakfast/ lunch. Gathering the garbage was okay, but carrying it down to the dumpster was too much if you are charging a cleaning fee. All that was needed was cleaning the bathroom and changing the sheets once.
