Enjoy this cozy cottage. 2bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home which sleeps a total of 6 guests. Additional sleeping space for guests in the nearby bungalow (Please note that bungalow does not have running water/bathroom facilities attached so guests would need to use the main cottage for such purposes.) There is an additional cost for use of the bungalow space, be sure to inquire about that at time of booking.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BUNGALOW SPACE IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING THE COLDER MONTHS OF OCTOBER THROUGH APRIL.

Perfect, once again

We have stayed here a number of times, and seriously, it just can’t be beat. Eating dinner on the patio, watching the waves, is the most peaceful way to spend an evening.

Peaceful Getaway!

We have stayed here 4 times and it is always very clean, which I appreciate. The lake comes into the house through all those beautiful windows. It has everything one needs to decompress and enjoy your surroundings.

Beautiful property on a beautiful lake

We stayed with our daughter, son-in-law and their two little girls. The cabin is immaculate and the space is utilized very well. The distance to Grand Marais was nice, just a little bit out of town. The setting was stunning, right on Lake Superior. We would stay again!

Amazing getaway

It was my husband and my first time up to the North Shore. This cottage was an absolute heaven. The porch looks right over the edge of Lake Superior. You can even walk up to the edge of the water. Everything in the house was very accessible and had everything that we needed. The place was very clean as well. The location was just 5min outside of Grand Marais. Definitely looking forward to coming back next year!

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage right on the water, very close to Grand Marais. Perfect for two couples! Adorable comfortable decor. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It was fabulous!!

A much needed getaway

We really needed some time away to just relax and be together. Sitting and watching the waves is wonderful! We couldn’t ask for a better location. This is our second visit, and we will be back this summer.

Oasis in the north

This is our second visit here, and we hope to return. Many amenities and nice touches. Nicely decorated. Views are fabulous. Very comfortable and cozy although spacious.

Lovely Croftville home

We really felt at home..... the house was lovely with such attention to detail.... even the household products were what we use at home.... the view is beautiful and being near the mouth of Devil Track River added interesting vistas.

We loved staying at your place, it was spacious, well equipped. The view of the lake was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet. The internet was super slow however we did not mind, It gave us a chance to connect. Your home is beautiful and we can not get over the view. It was a wonderful experience. Socially Distant Family Getaway

We would absolutely stay here again! This property worked perfect for our family getaway (3 generations plus dog). The proximity to Grand Marais was great and the beach access was amazing (and the fact it was a rocky beach you could walk on, not just a cliff). The "bungalow" was a bit further from the main house than we anticipated- it is on the other side of the septic mound and maybe a 30 yard walk. It's not far, but not a walk I would have wanted to do in the pouring rain in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The "bungalow" is nice and it was great to have the extra space and bedrooms. Heads up- the WiFi didn't reach the "bungalow" and there is almost no cell phone reception at this site... because the TV is a smart TV (no DVD player either) we weren't able to connect to anything due to the lack of WiFi (not that we spent much time watching TV, but if we had been rained out 1 day this would have been a little disappointing). The kitchen was well equipped. It would be nice if there were a couple additional chairs available for the table- there are 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8) but there is only seating for 6 at the table. Due to the COVID-19 related closures of most restaurants along the north shore we ate almost all of our meals at the house. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had all the comforts of home. Being directly on the lake watching the sunrises and the waves was so very good for the soul. The house is a great location, close to Grand Marias, The Gunflint Trail, and breathtaking state parks. We hiked the High Falls in Grand Portage State Park and Devils Kettle in Judge Magney State Park. We have been coming to the North Shore for more than 40 years and this home has been the best thus far. Thank you for sharing with others a piece of paradise ! Flo
