Great views of the ocean, nice neighborhood, well stocked house with beach gear and everything needed for our stay. We enjoyed time on the deck. The house would be nicer with new carpeting (or none). It looks dirty ( light color) and the house would smell better. My allergies acted up - house or vegetation I'm not used to? Who knows ...

What a wonderful home away from home!

This property is what anyone can consider a second home if not their first! It's perfect! Very spacious, clean, a well-stocked kitchen, great barbecue grill, and most importantly, the view is amazing. We will definitely book this again the next time we visit Kona. Wonderful large 2 level house. Could not have a better view of the ocean. Owner friendly and responsive. Very comfortable house- well stock for beach visits. Easy for 6 people to have their privacy and space. Calm peaceful neighborhood. Loved it so much have already reserved a week in Nov.

Beautiful location

The house is spacious and lovely. Has everything you might need. But for us, it's all about location and the lanai and both were ideal. The lanai has a lovely view of the coast. And the location is perfect to get into town (without being in town) but also great for going north and south for day trips. Yes, the frogs are loud but they are wonderful! It's like the best white noise.

House is configured well. The downstairs area is nice and private from the upstairs so the night owls don't disturb the early birds. Excellent office area upstairs. Neighborhood is nice. On Sundays around 7 am you can observe the "pups on parade" group. Good location and view. We are returning.

Kona neighborhood property on a hill with a beautiful view

This house was spacious and perfect for our trip. We had 6 adults, including a younger couple. The house allowed separation upstairs and down. The frogs sing at night. The morning view from the master bedroom and the veranda is superb! I would not hesitate to book again if I return to Kona to take that night Manta Ray canoe trip I must have booked by accident and can't get refunded. Great house for our needs,

A wonderful experience

This is our second time renting this lovely house this year. Had a great experience in June and just replicated it for Thanksgiving. Lyn always answers my questions quickly. Stupendous view and very comfortable, roomy space. Cannot beat the views from the lanai. Comfortable furnishings, quiet neighborhood- well- except the coqui but they are part of the charm!!!!!!!Have no doubt there will be a third time in the future !

Nice home with a scenic view and great sunsets!

Rental was very good, great lanai, well equipped kitchen, laundry, and beach amenities. Good location with lots of room for 3 couples. If you love the sound of a Costa Rican jungle then this is the place for you, if not, bring ear plugs because the noise of the frogs can be overwhelming some nights and the AC was not adequate to keep the bedrooms cool enough for us. The geckos were great at keeping any bugs at bay and very entertaining to watch. Overall Lyn was a great host and Chris made sure we were comfortable including a little welcome basket which was very nice.

Beautiful view but needs updating

A wonderful view and great location. The house was well stocked. It was nice to have 2 washer/dryers and 3 restrooms for 3 couples. The beds were very comfortable. The house could use an update with furniture, refinishing of kitchen cabinets and flooring upstairs. The worn/dirty carpeting needs to be replaced with tile or laminate. The master bedroom shower area needs blinds you can’t see through. At night, if taking a shower or on the toilet, you can see through the blinds on the lanai. Overall, we had a wonderful time in your home. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was exactly as advertised, beautiful house and furnishings, great view from lanai, spectacular sunsets. The location is outstanding, very central to everything. Just a few minutes to downtown Kailua-Kona, 30 mins to Kealakekua Bay/Place of Refuge and coffee country, 1 hr north to Hapuna Beach. The owner Lyn was very responsive and helpful. We discovered some new beaches (La'aloa, Magic Sands, and our new favorite, Kua Bay) all very close by. We have been to Kona several times, but this was the best visit, due to the beautiful house and location. Thanks Lyn!

House was exactly as depicted. Great views and amenities. We had 3 adults and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Would be a perfect house for several couples. Downstairs even had a bedroom with twin beds that I didn't realize was there. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Amazing home and host while on the Big Island!

From first inquiring to checking out Lyn could not have been more friendly helpful and accommodating! Besides providing a beautiful home that she accurately depicts in the write up, she gave suggestions for our visit which not only highlighted the Island but also aligned to our family interests! She took the time to care about our stay, evident by the personal note we received upon arrival! The home is perfectly situated close to the airport, close to a variety of companies for excursions, and to town to enjoy the ocean air and amazing eateries. This led to: What could we buy in Hawaii if we wanted to invest. This seemed like a far-out, dream question, but we decided to invest an afternoon with a real estate agent to find out.
