Very positive review

It's a very nice place to stay, guiet en with loth of space, a very big and nice garden. IN the house you find everything you need, also for cooking. The owner is a nice man, always helpfull when you need some help. We had a very nice holiday there, i can recomanded it to you. The area is also good, you can visit al nice places in Normandie within a short distance.

schöne kleine Wohnung in wunderbarem Haus - sehr netter Gastgeber

Wir haben hier ein paar Nächte auf der Durchreise verbracht. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist ein Traum und die Wohnung bietet alle was man für ein paar entspannte Tage benötigt. Die Lage ist super um Bayeux, Caen und die geschichtsträchtigen Strände der Normandie zu besuchen.

Wunderbare Gîte in Ryes, in der wir einen schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt hatten. Die Wohnung ist schön und stilvoll eingerichtet und bleibt an heißen Sommertagen angenehm kühl. Das Schlafzimmer ist ein eigener (sehr schön sanierter) Raum, zwei weitere Betten stehen im Wohnbereich, in dem sich auch die Küchenzeile befindet. Der Sitzplatz im Freien ist Teil des weitläufigen Gartens (eher Parks), der zum großen Haus gehört, an das die Gîte angebaut ist - hohe Bäume, verwunschene Ecken, frei laufende Hühner und eine Katze. Wir mussten unseren Hund ein bisschen im Zaum halten, haben uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt. Nicolas ist ein sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der auch sehr gut Deutsch spricht. Die Lage in Ryes ist optimal, wenn man Bayeux, Caen oder Strände besuchen möchte.

Super!!

Wat een geweldige plek. Een huis met geschiedenis. Een uitstekende host! Nicolas is een geweldige gastheer. Woning is uitstekend geoutilleerd en superschoon. Heerlijk bed en mooie badkamer. Keuken met vaatwasser, fornuis en oven. Wij komen zeker terug. De mooie tuin geeft heerlijk rust.

Hübsches Haus mit Gartenanteil in ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten einen sehr netten, herzlichen Empfang durch unseren Gastgeber Nicolas, der sehr gut Deutsch spricht, und uns gut informiert hat. Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert ( alter Anbau des Haupthauses?), und durch Mauern von den Nachbargrundstücken abgetrennt, dadurch sehr ruhig und uneinsehbar. Der Vermieter wohnt mit im Gebäude und die Gärten gehen in einander über, für mitgebrachte Hunde oder Kleinkinder wäre eine Abtrennung gut. Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was man braucht, wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Hunden für eine Woche vor Ort. Die Umgebung bietet viel Abwechslung, wenn man einige Minuten fährt, sowohl Strand als auch kulturelle Stätten und Burgen, Flohmärkte und Wochenmärkte sind gut erreichbar. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch Bayeux, ca 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

The garden is astounding with old lime trees and the characteristic high stone walls and idyllic terrace. Great and safe place for our galgo (apart from two chickens) but also for us. The holiday cottage is in the lower part of the building and has already been restored. Excellent bathroom. Nice bedroom with a good double bed. More beds if necessary in the living room with open kitchen which is simple but has all modern amenities. When asked, our host Nicolas explained which places to visit; also pointed out the historic elements throughout the ages that are not to be missed. Informative, amusing and very entertaining. If you are looking for romantic French vibes this is the place to go. Close to interesting places and the sea; surrounded by beautiful landscape and tree lined roads with great views.

Rustikal und romantisch, passend zur Gegend

Wir hatten einen tollen, spannenden und erholsamen Urlaub in der Normandie. Die Unterkunft passte sehr gut in das Gesamtbild. Charmant und romantisch, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der große Garten, abseits der Straße, lädt ein, um Ruhe und Kraft zu tanken, für weitere neue Unternehmungen rund um die Gegend. Nebenbei kann man den Gesängen der Vögel lauschen. Der Gastgeber, sehr nett und freundlich wie er ist, ist stets offen für Tipps und Ratschläge, und bringt einem gerne einige kulturelle und landestypische Gegebenheiten näher. Begegnungen und Gespräche mit ihm waren immer sehr angenehm. Überaschend für uns konnte er sogar sehr gut deutsch sprechen. Das war für uns natürlich unglaublich hilfreich. Ein schöner und lohnenswerter Aufenthalt für uns. Vielen Dank!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Normandie. Eine Gegend mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und spannenden Eindrücken. Eingebettet in dem landestypischen romantischen Charme. Unsere Ferienunterkunft passte sehr gut in das gesammte Bild. Rutsikal, charmant und mit allem, was man braucht eingerichtet. Ein schöner großer Garten, ruhig und abseits der Straße lud ein, sich dort zu erholen und Kraft zu tanken, bei dem Gesamg der Vögel rundherum. Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen nett und freundlich, gab Tipps, Beratung und Wissenswertes für die Dinge rund um die Umgebung. Begegnungen und Gespräche mit dem Gastgeber waren stets sehr angenehm. Und er sprach überaschenderweise auch sehr gut deutsch, was für uns natürlich sehr hilfreich war. Also insgesamt ein toller und lohnenswerter Ausflug in die Normandie. Vielen Dank!

Very nice stay

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Ryes. Onze hond Boris heeft genoten van de hele grote omheinde tuin. In de omgeving is veel te zien. Nicolas is een fijne gastheer.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne und ruhige Tage mit Strand, Stadt und Land, mit Sonne, Wind und auch ein wenig Regen. Unser Gastgeber Nicolas hat uns mit allen Informationen versorgt und ist ein sehr netter Gesprächspartner. Die Unterkunft und der zugehöriger Garten sind ein echter Geheimtipp! Unser Hund hat ihn den gesamtem Hof direkt zu ihrem Eigentum erklärt ;-) Wir werden bestimmt noch eine Weile von der Erholung und den Eindrücken profitieren.

Unterkunft mit französischem Charme

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft, dem Teil eines alten Herrenhauses mit dem typischen Charme alter Häuser, sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt auch deshalb, weil der Vermieter ein aufgeschlossener Mensch ist, mit dem man anregende Gespräche führen kann. Für unseren Hund war der riesige, gut eingezäunte ( Mauer) Garten ein Paradies. Die Entfernung zum Meer beträgt nur ca. 4 Minuten mit dem Auto, andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr schnell zu erreichen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Communication

Tout était parfait avec notre hôte .. mais l’agence a omis de prévenir que nous étions trois , signalés par sms , pour nos chiens cela a été signalé Et lorsque la transaction a eu lieu … plus personnes pour correspondre ! Impossible d’avoir le propriétaire qui nous envoyait des sms et appel … que je n’ai jamais eu .. et vis et versa ! Du coup nous sommes arrivés sur place en fonction des heures d’arrivée signaler par abritel qui ne correspondait malheureusement pas à celle du propriétaire. Pbm de communication de tel entre nous deux … qui fort heureusement c’est par la suite bien rétabli. Nicolas est un hôte très charmant et l’annonce correspondait en tout point au descriptif annoncé
