We had such a relaxing week at this cottage. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the back porch as we did also. There's nothing like the sound of running water on the river. The location is so convenient to many trails, Banner Elk and many other places. Ashton does a great job of making you feel welcome and the cottage is very warm and inviting.

Fish camp cottage

The cottage was quaint and comfortable, with a beautiful stream out the back door. The owner was super easy to communicate with—would definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect

This mini-house is a perfect vacation stay with everything you need. The kitchen is fully-equipped for real cooking with full-sized appliances. The porches are both gated, which made it very dog friendly. We spent as much time as we could on the back porch over the stream and saw some wildlife there. The location is central to many places, especially the Linville Falls Winery, the Linville Mechantile, and the Parkway.

Wonderful place

This was my second time staying in this area my first time at Ashton’s cabin. It was wonderful. It was time away for me to clear my head. The back porch is wonderful sitting back there listening to the birds and the river. Ashton is a wonderful host. I ran into Kim. Who does the cleaning when I got there she was very helpful also. I plan on staying again.

The fish camp cottage is adorable and comfy. It had everything needed for a fun weekend in the mountains. The view of the river right behind the cottage is beautiful and awe inspiring. The community it is situated in, provides a safe and quiet location to enjoy the area. It’s also very close to the Linville Caverns and the National Forest.
