Property was nice. Great cabin feel and good location.
The driveway is very very steep and scary at first but doable. Just a few minutes away from downtown.
Kitchen is fully stocked and the game room and hot tub were great.
On the other end, I feel like some things could use improvement. Some rooms could have been cleaner and more updated. Most of the furniture was older and the couches had stains/small holes. The covers on the bunk beds downstairs were damp I believe it was due to the excess moisture in that room.

It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the cabin feel and its location. We're so sorry for the issues you encountered, especially with the cleanliness and moisture; we’ll definitely address these concerns. We appreciate your feedback and are glad the kitchen, game room, and hot tub added to your stay.
This property is very disappointing. We stay in Gatlinburg 2 to 3 times a year and have never stayed in a cabin that was this filthy, gross and beat up! There is mold on the wood in the shower, open hole where water is pouring out next to the cabin a danger to children. The driveway ruined one bumper on our trip and could not even get the van to the top level. The cost of this cabin is way out of the range it should be. We will not stay with cabins for you again. Very very disappointed!

We are so sorry that the cabin was not cleaned properly, this is definitely not up to our standards and we hate that this happened. We will also reach out to the correct departments regarding possible improvements for the driveway. We sincerely apologize that your expectations were not met for this cabin. We hope that your next trip to the Smokies is more enjoyable, even if it is not with us.

Overall OK
The location was nice. The cabin was OK. Looks like it has been used quite a bit but it was clean. Unfortunately the fireplace and dryer were out of order but they did make us aware of this 1 week before we arrived. I guess there was not time to fix this. The downstairs bedroom had no electricity so we had to use an extension cord to get some light in the room and charge our phones. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids loved the game room. The hillside below the deck is strewn with trash from previous renters. Not the most pleasant sight. Word of warning: the driveway has an extremely steep grade and and a tight turn. Getting out of the driveway took practice and extra eyes, especially at night. Watch out for the boulder at the turn. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way and ended up with a major dent in my SUV. I can’t imagine how hard this would be if there were ice or snow.

While we're glad you were able to enjoy the location and aspects of the cabin, we are sorry to hear you had to deal with amenities not working and some trouble with power to one of the bedrooms, in addition to some trash outside the cabin. We do appreciate your honest feedback and have passed your comments to the appropriate departments so we can address these items for future guests. We do apologize for any and all inconvenience caused, and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Worst cabin ever stayed at
We have stayed at many cabins/chalets in our time. This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. First off the driveway is advertised as steep and curvy well anyone that has ever stayed at a cabin in Tenn. is used to that no big deal right. Nope this is dangerous we couldn’t even make it up the driveway in our SUV. We had to walk up the 69 ft. Driveway. The video that is shown with property does not depict it at all. I wish I would have read reviews before renting because the company didn’t care we couldn’t make it up. Didn’t offer help when we told them just only said there was nowhere else for us to stay. We didn’t even leave the first day because we were scared of the driveway. Stayed gone all the next day so we wouldn’t have to walk up and down it but one time. I wanted to cry.! Also it was dirty, moldy, couch was broke, floors were nasty, had dead bugs on floors and shelves, furniture outdated in parts of the house. The bathroom door wouldn’t close either but that’s not a deal breaker.I will say they had extra bedding and that was nice and up until the driveway incident communication was as it would be anyway. Don’t stay here! You will be disappointed. Also had no broom for me to sweep up with. Had a nasty overdue mop that had to make due with to sweep with.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced during your stay, and we completely understand how stressful and upsetting the driveway situation must have been. A safe and accessible arrival is absolutely essential, and it’s unacceptable that you felt unsafe and unsupported. We also regret that the cleanliness and condition of the cabin fell short of expectations, from the floors and furniture to the mold and broken couch. Your feedback about the driveway, property presentation, and cleaning supplies is taken very seriously, and our team is already reviewing these areas to prevent similar experiences for future guests. It deeply saddens us that your visit was so disappointing, and we regret that this was your experience with us. We truly appreciate you sharing your honest feedback, as it helps us improve meaningfully.
I'll start with the positives. The cabin is very nice, clean, warm, and well stocked. I loved the bedrooms; loved, loved, loved the game room and loved the wrap around porch with hot tub. Everything worked well as far as the fireplace, oven and dishwasher. We had a fantastic time IN the cabin!! Also, the checkin, checkout process was very efficient and communication from cabins for you was very good, including texting.
The cons: the driveway is horrible. In my opinion, it is unacceptable. Obviously, people are dealing with it. It is incredibly narrow, with a huge pot hole at the bottom. It is incredibly steep, with a 90 degree turn halfway up. And there is not much parking at the top. They say they highly recommend a 4WD vehicle. It should really be a requirement. We did have a 4WD vehicle, however my son drove separately in a honda civic and he couldn't even begin to make it up the driveway. He had to find a place on the street, which was no easy task being in a very rural location. Also, the yard is very tiny. This is a pet friendly cabin, so if you bring dogs, just know there's not much "yard." Also no firepit. It doesn't advertise with a firepit and I didn't realize it till we got there. Just a note on that.
So, I don't mean to be a Karen about the driveway, but I refused to ride in the vehicle up and down. I got out and walked every single time! It should be better described in the description.
fantastic time IN the cabi

NEEDS BETTER DRIVEWAY
House had a very bad smell, so bad that we had to go get air freshers. Smelled like a dead dog all thur the whole house. No lies about the drive way, a 4WD is difficulty needed. Nice cabin but not worth the trouble of trying to get up the drive.
