Very clean house, safe area, walkable to restaurants and shops. Minor issue was rapidly addressed. Comfortable beds and huge kitchen. Host provided great dining recommendations. Loved Gettysburg. Let to of interesting history with Stratton House!
We had a lovely stay at Stratton House. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and hosts were very friendly & communicative. We would highly recommend this property for your stay at Gettysburg!
Awesome historic house with plenty of interesting notes (in wall hangings) that add to the historic feel. Description is spot-on and the house and location are super - very close to both park sights and destinations in town.Terrific stay, we enjoyed the front porch quite a bit too.
It was an excellent stay! Walking distance to a great majority of things, town, shops, etc. Lisa was so responsive. Anytime I had a question, she got back to me within five minutes. The house was very clean and was so functional for our needs. Would definitely stay here again.
The property was overall excellent. A problem for seniors are the steps to get into the property and to get upstairs. The bannisters are very low befitting a house built in the later 19th century. No grab bar in the upstairs bath/shower and tall bath. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a lovely, clean, spacious house. Great owners. The only problem for seventy something’s are the stairs.
Wonderful location. Stayed here with family for a 5 night stay in October and the property was lovely. Ideal location to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay at this lovely historic home! The location was convenient to explore the battlefields and for a nice stroll to dinner in the evenings. Owners Paul and Lisa, were friendly and hospitable with fresh eggs and fine coffee!and
