Cabin was great! Very clean on arrival, check-in was smooth, and host is quick to respond to messages.Short drive to Ludington, Pentwater, and Lake Michigan, etc!Highly reccomend!
Very nice place to stay in the Ludington area. The cabin was cute and super clean, and close enough to town and the state park to be convenient. The management was very responsive to any questions. There were two couples staying in the cabin. We liked that there were two queen beds, besides the bunkbeds in the third bedroom. The only thing we would like to see improved was the quality of the mattresses. They could have been a lot more comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed Bluegill!

Thank you, Lorie! I will work on the mattress issue! Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed yourself!
This is a gem of a property, excellently managed, perfectly cleaned and located in a little slice if heaven on earth!I hesitate to write such a good review, because it might result in unavailability in the future! But excellence deserves reward, especially in a difficult endeavor.Book without hesitation! (And be sure to visit Barnharts- great food and service, right across the street!

Thank you so much Mary, for your kind words, we have been working really hard to make everything fun and enjoyable for our guests. Please come back and visit us!
Overall, the place is nice, featuring three bedrooms and pet-friendly accommodations. However, if you have two people per bedroom, the living area may become a bit crowded, as it is small and only has one couch. We encountered an issue on our first night when there was no internet due to sharing a router with four other cottages, which prevented us from watching the NFL game. I contacted the management company, and they brought an additional Wi-Fi router the following day. The TV relies on apps, so if you use YouTube TV, you'll need a reliable internet connection or a mobile hotspot from your phone. I managed to negotiate with the restaurant owner across the street to pay 50 per day for access to his dock, which allowed us to park our boat. The boat launch is within walking distance from the rental. I’m glad we brought extra towels and pillows, but the beds were comfortable enough for our needs. Full kitchen with fridge and stove/oven/microwave all good.
Was just ok. Expense for 4 nights? Shower is only 2 foot by 2 foot you can't bend over to wash your feet. Never was able to use the boat dock provided due to another rental property using it. A nother dock owner allowed us to use one of their docks.TV/Internet only really worked in the morning. Was there to fish so we put up with it. Was clean and all the amenities. No extra paper towels or toilet paper. Had to go to dollar general. I properly will not stay there again.
This place was small but very adequate. We had 6 adults. The beds were super comfy! The decor updated and very clean. Right across the street from an amazing bar restaurant. We will be coming back here!
Loved it. Very clean, easy check in and out Rooms were comfortable and well appointed although mirrors in all bedrooms would be nice
Bathroom is small and a bit cramped. Bedroom smoke alarms went off a couple of times-probably needs new batteries. We’d come back
