Decent trip but not great

We were greeted with a mold/mildew smell upon entering. We searched around and found that the rim of the washer was covered in black mold/mildew looking stuff. Contacted who we rented through and they said they would send someone but no one ever came so we had to go out and buy cleaning products to clean the washer and other parts of the house. It is a rental so it's standard for it to not be in pristine condition but it could use a fresh coat of paint as well as so other minor improvements. The door to the balcony was extremely hard to lock and unlock. There was also a broken chair on the balcony (not a big deal just want the owner aware)

I’m usually not one to complain. There were spiders both alive and dead between the sheets. Each bed appeared to have dirty linens, and there was sand all in the beds. The floors countertops, everything were full of sand. The location was convenient. The kitchen window is pouring water back into the unit while it rained. It is fully furnished so that was a plus. As a whole, the unit felt dirty. I reached out to the host with an Wi-Fi issue that was left unresolved.

We enjoyed Gulf Shores, and were close to lots of things to do and places to eat. This condo was definitely smaller than the pictures made it out to be. The best part was the location, an easy walk to the beach and directly next to the pool. The pool does fall under shade very early in the day. The front door is easy to see through at night if you have lights on inside, one of the windows leaked, and the storm door in the master bedroom whistled nonstop during high winds. The condo wasn’t dirty exactly, but the dings in the walls and paint and the rust spots from the nails in the trim made it look that way. The master tub also looked stained and worn. Both bathroom sinks did not drain well and the master failed to get hot water through it at all. The remotes for the fans in the master bedroom and the living room were crossed somehow, so anytime one light was turned on it turned the other fan light on and same with the fans. Overall, nothing that made the place uninhabitable but definitely made it a place we wouldn’t return to. The location was the saving grace. The management company was fine, good communication and we had the codes and stuff we needed.

Great location if you don’t want big crowds, but is further from a lot of things. Exactly as listed. 1st night there went to master bath for a shower and the ceiling was slightly leaking and chunks of the texture were falling into the tub. Messaged property through VRBO and they responded very quickly and had someone there the next morning to look at it. It happened no fault of their own but was obvious it had probably been leaking for some time. It was resolved but left with a hole in the ceiling and disappointed we were down to 1 bathroom for the stay.

Can't beat the view

Great condo for our family spring break trip. Loved that we could walk out on the private porch and see the Gulf right there. Place was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Parking is tight if you have a big vehicle.

Great location, perfect for families

This property was a great location, within a couple of miles of shopping and restaurants. We had a few issues with some items in the home, but the management company responded quickly! Pictures are accurate and there is a small store easily within walking distance for any quick items.

Great view

We enjoyed staying here. We had a great view of the beach and pool which is a big plus for me. And everything was close by. Customer service was very helpful and all of my questions were answered. Definitely will be coming back.

Nice, relaxing time

Property was good. Great location with great wrap around balcony directly facing the beach and the beach area is not overrun with skyscraper condos. It is a little older and the salt air has made some of the exterior door hardware stop working, which I’m sure can be repaired by the property manager. The restaurant across the street was very good too.

Family holiday

Great stay at this very pleasant property. We are a bit spoiled and wanted a view that fronted the beach. This is an end unit (others have a side-ways view) and was just perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Exactly as described.

Great for friends and family

We really enjoyed the location of the property and the large wrap around balcony. Beds were super comfortable too! The only downfall was there were no cleaning supplies provided besides 1 packet of dishwashing fluid, 1 laundry detergent packet and 1 trash bag, I wish we had access to more cleaning materials to maintain the place. Other than that we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Girls Trip

Had a blast. Condo was right on the beach with a wonderful view. Next time i would try to get a top floor condo bc it sounded like a hurd of elephants on meth were staying above us. Other than that it was great!

Just a great location

Loves the “hands off” checkin and checkout. No need to call anyone to get these done. Just be able to read English and follow directions. The 3 bedrooms were welcome and took care of all of us. The location on the beach was as as advertised. Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.
