About this property

Haskell Treehouse is family-friendly in a quiet area close to downtown Portland.

New listing on VRBO, but listed on other sites. 5-star reviews from all previous guests.

The Haskell Treehouse is located in a quiet wooded area that is close to downtown Portland and very family friendly.

*House is not suitable to host parties or similar type events.*

Our home features a mid-century modern design with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan that is fully updated inside and out. The large backyard is a private garden-like environment that is a great place to gather with friends and family for a BBQ, a game of cornhole or a fire in the firepit.

The upstairs layout includes the master bedroom and ensuite bath, an additional bedroom and guest bath, office with elliptical workout machine, large open living area, fully equipped kitchen and an upper deck with BBQ (connected to home’s natural gas, so no propane tanks).

The downstairs has a third bedroom and bath, family room with billiards, darts, arcade game, kitchenette and access to the backyard entertaining area.

*You will have access to all rooms in the house. However, this is our primary residence so closets, dressers and cabinets will have some personal items in them.*

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac street that is family-friendly and conveniently located near:
-Neighborhood parks
-Downtown Portland
-Close to Intel, Nike & Sunset Trimet station
-Forest Park
-Japanese Gardens
-Oregon Zoo

Quiet location, very spacious!

Although we spent most of our time exploring Portland, we enjoyed hanging out at home in the evening playing darts and pool. Great for kids/teens!

Loved this treehouse!

We loved staying at this home. We stayed for two nights after being on a road trip of the PNW the previous week. It was a great way to end our adventures. The house was so relaxing with the shady trees in the back. There was so much room for us to spread out and just relax. I loved the helpful notes for renters posted around the house and in cabinets. Sometimes it's easy to overlook those details when they are in a visitors guide, so the little labels were so appreciated!

Wonderful Portland Experience

We traveled to Portland for a family wedding and this house was just perfect for my spouse, our kids and my in-laws to stay! The house was central for our day excursions east to the gorge and west to the coast. The amenities were terrific and during our downtime, we really enjoyed the back patio and firepit! The game room was a big hit with the kids (and adults!) - that arcade video game was awesome! If we visit the Portland area again, we'll definitely stay here again!

Clean, Spacious with lovely backyard

This house was perfect for the three of us. Each of us had our own room and bathroom. The kitchen, dining, living space are one large open space that leads to the upper deck. Hardscaped backyard with fire pit and dining area was our favorite part of the house. I would recommend this house for couples or adults. There are owner’s personal items around the house so it doesn’t feel completely private but this house has everything you need, situated in a quiet nice neighborhood with close access to the freeway/main roads. I’d rent this house again over a hotel.

Wonderful house!

This house is the perfect getaway! Brett is very responsive and has thought of absolutely everything, including a toy for our cat:). Our kids loved the downstairs game room, and we all enjoyed quiet mornings on the main floor with lots of sunlight from the large windows. The house is very comfortable and has all you will need for your stay including a well stocked kitchen. The outdoor space is lovely and the fire pit (with lots of stocked firewood) was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this house!
