Very pleasant stay, weather was warm so we spent a lot of time on the deck - perfect! We did see a mama bear with 2 cubs cross the road. We had a few hours of cooler weather one day and did use the fireplace, I imagine the cabin would be so cozy in the winter, House was clean, beds were pretty comfortable. Owner was quick to respond to any questions I had.
Super cute cottage! Perfect for our dog too with the fenced porch and yard. Georgia communicated with great directions and info. Thank you for a fabulous stay. We will be back.
The property was beautiful and so very clean. Comfortable and I love the deck and the fireplace for chilly mornings. We enjoyed the wild turkeys, birds and bears nearby but not too close. The house was close to an excellent bakery and lots of nature and restaurants.
Beautiful spot. The outside deck, fire pit and landscape/flowers made it for me. Georgia left homemade cookies for us and was very welcoming. A quick drive to downtown Asheville. Loved having our dog with us. Saw the neighborhood bear three times. Exciting!
We have stayed at this cabin before and its location is great. We love the fenced in yard. Our dog loves it also. Being a cattle dog he needs to be able to run off his energy and be secure. The host is very responsive and is always available if needed. The cabin is very clean and a beautiful place to relax.
We enjoyed staying at this charming cottage! Georgia was a wonderful host. The home is so close to all things you want to do in Asheville and hiking in the mountains. We loved sitting around the fireplace and cooking meals in the well stocked kitchen.
We loved it. The location was great and the rooms were cozy. It was a great spot from which to explore the Asheville area to come home too at the end of the day. we especially liked dining in the “French Quarter.” overall, a fantastic place to stay
Wonderful cottage for our Girl's Weekend. House had everything we needed. Perfect set up.House is private and nicely located near the Grove Park. Easy access to restaurants and activities. Georgia was quick to respond to any questions. Minor issue was quickly resolved. We had a WONDERFUL time.
What a lovely two week stay in our little cabin in the woods but super close to downtown Asheville! Wonderful setting, bears, snow and temps in the 70’s! Great cozy spot in a beautiful location!
Host was very welcoming. She communicated with us prior to our visit with recommendations for the area. Check-in was very easy and the place was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our visit and would stay again.
The house was very warm and cozy. The owner was always available. Cleanliness was awesome. There is a lot of history to the home as you will read in the binder located in the house. We never used the hot tub, but it was functional. The location was superb.
The stay at the cottage was perfect. About 10-15 mins from downtown. Lots of outdoor space for kids, adults, and our pups. Cozy interior with all needed amenities. We would definitely stay again!
