My friend was from Florida so shocked and awe for her but I live in Maine and this is one of the all time most beautiful places I have visited in the state. Quiet quiet quiet. Misty morning fog fishing canoe and kayak available. Wood stove kept us cozy warm. The owners thought this one through. Back up generator on site so just in case. Wi-fi direct TV. Walking trails throughout multiple hundred acres of the property. This was a fall trip hope to repeat in the summer. Just steps from water with mountian views and full shot of the milky way galaxy. You couldn't ask for more. Hosts were fantastic prompt with help and communication.

Thank you April for your kind words. We enjoyed meeting both of you and look forward to having you be our guests again.
Our stay at The Pond House was wonderful. The home itself is comfortable and welcoming. What made this stay especially meaningful was how accessible the home is. Having a wheelchair-accessible space allowed everyone in our family to fully participate and enjoy our time together without worry. That gift of inclusion and comfort meant more than words can express. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space. Cannot wait to go back!

It was the most perfect spot for privacy and relaxation. The home was beautiful, the host was very friendly and acomidating. We caught a lot of fish right in front of the home. You wont find a better 5 star place to stay! We will definitely be going back.Thank you Roger for the best hospitality.

This is our 2nd stay on the property, a phenomenal house with everything you need. Beautiful views and ease of access. Roger and Elaine do a great job with maintaining the property!
This home is an idyllic getaway on 400 private acres with welcoming hosts. We loved waking up each morning to views of the lake and surrounding lands. Beds were extremely comfortable and the house provided everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. We enjoyed taking the canoe and paddleboat on the lake, and only wish we had more time to explore. The property has trails for miles, and is the ideal location to "get away from it all" and enjoy some peace and quiet with family or friends.
Roger and Elaine are phenomenal hosts maintaining the property before and during are stay keeping the roads and property safe during the winter months, can’t wait for our next trip back!
We loved our stay! Had everything we needed for a family of 5 + pup. Roger & Elaine couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating. Can't wait to go back!!
This place exceeded all expectations. It’s beautiful, comfortable and completely private. It was such a peaceful place to rest. Everything about the property was outstanding. If you want the best vacation spot in Maine…it’s right here!!!

Thank you Anthony. Elaine and I try our best to provide everything that our guests expect when they want to relax in comfort and peacefulness.
This was our second year staying at Roger and Elaine’s beautiful place, and once again, everything was perfect. The home was spotless, communication was excellent, and Roger and Elaine continue to be the best hosts we’ve ever had. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. We are so looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
Pond house is fabulous. This is our second time there. Its clean, has a well stocked kitchen and blissfully quiet on the pond. We range from 40-80 and the space is incredibly comfortable with good beds. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with. Very few stairs making it comfortable for both my mother and aging dog. And I love, love, love the woodstove!
Awesome place, amazing location and with great friends it was a recipe for a good time. We had many pics and videos of eagles very close landing in the tree on the waters edge and coming down to feast on fish. Everything we needed was onsite. Thank you!
The house and property are so lovely and comfortable. It really is more beautiful in person. It’s very private and exactly what we were looking for. We swam, kayaked and brought out paddle boards to enjoy. I actually worked remotely for a couple of days too and the WiFi worked well. We are already planning on returning next year!
This was our second stay at the Pond House, and it was no less wonderful or perfect this time around.
The accommodations have everything we needed to make dinners, hang out, swim and play all day on the water, and for 7 of us to sleep comfortably.
The privacy and scenery were unbeatable; and for nature lovers, there is so much to look at and explore.
This is truly a special spot for us.
We chose this cottage as the owners had taken the time to make it wheelchair accessible and ADA friendly. Since I am in a wheelchair pretty much full-time this was a fantastic place for me to stay. I could get around the building easily and be close to the water. Kitchen was well equipped! We already plan to return.
Our third stay and we love it more each time we visit. Roger and Elaine have created an oasis of peace and serenity. Loon sightings every day on the lake as well as Orioles, Pilleated Woodpecker and Merganser, etc. The view from the living room is wonderful and we wish we could wake up here everyday!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful spot. We are planning our next visit.
This was the second time we stayed at the pond house. This is a new property that is in great shape and especially good for me because it is ADA accessible. We highly recommend it. The owners are very attentive to guests and making sure they have what they need and are comfortable.
