The location of this darling house was perfect for us! We wanted to be close to downtown while enjoying a view of the lake, and we got both. The house is situated above a restaurant and wine bar, which we also enjoyed having so conveniently close. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.The only challenge during our stay was the noise. We heard some late-night activity from below, doors banging throughout the evening, and very loud garbage trucks in the middle of the night. That said, we understand that some outside noise comes with staying in a downtown location.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and the noise would not keep us from returning. This charming house is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy the convenience and atmosphere of downtown!

The plumbing in the bathroom was bad. The tub/shower AND the bathroom sink took forever to drain. The shower curtain liner was in desperate need of being replaced; very moldy. The ceiling in the guest bedroom showed signs of cracking which could mean there is the potential for the roof to be leaking. (One of the guests was a property developer, so he had a good eye.) :-)

We loved it! Very clean and excellent location right on Lake Geneva in the midst of the busy area. Great balcony for people watching. Being above a bistro didn't bother us, we knew before booking that was the situation. We would totally stay here again! We missed having Kleenex but that's my fault for not checking to see if that was provided. Our only issue was nothing the owners could control, the neighboring restaurant (Oakfire) kept their indoor lights on all night, even after closing, which lit up the balcony area.

We appreciate the feedback regarding the neighboring restaurant's lighting and the facial tissues, and we look forward to hosting you in the future!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and truly appreciate the 10/10 review! We’re sorry to hear about the intermittent buzzing. We haven’t had this mentioned before, so it’s possible something was running in the restaurant below at the time. If we had known during your stay, we would have contacted them right away to investigate and resolve it. We really value the feedback and would love to host you again in the future!

This property’s location can’t be beat! The balcony patio is incredible, the beds were comfortable, the ac kept us cool during a very hot and humid weekend, and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, mugs, etc. We would stay here again.
