4BR/3BA newly renovated house on a forested 30+ acres. Shared land with a chalet we own (sleeps up to 4), the expansive property is adjacent to the Mt. Massive Wilderness Area to enjoy a never-ending backyard! The home offers excellent views and access to a platform tennis court. Take advantage of nearby skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, and river rafting.

100% wind power from the utility provider.

StarLink Internet and LTE work great! Stay connected or totally disconnect.

Property is easily accessible in winter! Adjacent SH-300 road is regularly plowed by the State.

Leadville sits at 10,200 feet in altitude and is centrally located in Colorado. Great place from which to launch adventures! Many ski areas are within about an hour's drive in the winter:

Copper Mountain - ~30 miles
Beaver Creek - ~44 miles
Breckenridge - ~46 miles

The house was great! Updated, spacious, and stocked with everything you need. The views are beautiful and just a 15 min drive to Ski Cooper and 35 min drive to Copper Mountain ski resort. Would highly recommend to stay here!

One of the most interesting houses I've ever been inside of. The house is insanely spacious, the kitchen has plenty of supplies, the area is beautiful. There's an old road or horse trail that's super grown over leading straight up the mountain behind the house. That's really interesting to explore too.

A super nice, updated house that is in a great location for the Leadville 100. It is 1.9 mile from the Outward Bound crew station and is on the route where the runners pass!It was clean and comfy! We gave it 4 stars because there were a lot of flies and dead flies in the second living room area. We did not have time to address it as we were crewing for the race. Overall, we really liked it and recommend it if you are looking to stay in Leadville!

What a great location and property. Less than one mile from the Fish Hatchery and only a couple miles from the golf course. Being able to hike near a small stream right from the property was a huge plus!

Weekend getaway with my spouse. Beautiful property. Quiet, clean and had plenty of room. Want to come back with the kids as the place had 3 living rooms and numerous other rooms to explore!

Perfect base camp for 14ers

Great basecamp to hit Elbert, Massive, Holy Cross, and Sherman. Close to Leadville and Turquoise Lake. Nice little waterfall in the back. Beds were comfortable, lots of space. Could have used some salt, which was the only. Negative

Comfortable and roomy

A nice place to stay. Lots of room for the family to spread out, but the heat didn't want to work in one of the bedrooms. That's my only complaint.

Great place

Great house with plenty of room. We found it perfect for kids. Lots of land to roam around. Well located, not far from Leadville and hiking, climbing or lakes to fish.

Wooded mountain escape!

We wanted to get out in the woods and this house has its own on a mountain! We enjoyed our time exploring the mountain and the house that has lots of character. If you are looking for an escape to the woods this house can give that to you and there is plenty of space inside and out!
