Welcome to this classic Patti Page Cape Cod cottage with private outdoor space and located directly across from a private portion of Mayo Beach! This oceanfront cottage offers a quaint and well-equipped escapade to experience a truly unforgettable vacation. The living room boasts colorful decor with two comfortable sofas and two armchairs near a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with cable and streaming services. You'll have a nice coffee station to treat yourself to a warm cup of coffee after coming back from the beach. The eat-in kitchen comes fully equipped with great appliances and cookware to prepare delicious meals and beach snacks. This retreat offers two dining tables, a six-person table in the kitchen and another six-person, but in a more secluded nook.

Dunes Edge boasts a beachfront deck with an outdoor dining area with an umbrella, two beach chairs, and plenty of outdoor chairs. This is a great place to hang out and unwind in the outdoors while taking in the majestic views of the beach and ocean without moving from your rental.

This home is not set up for children. It has not been child-proofed. And there is a space heater used in the bathroom.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect

Great Cape Cottage with beautiful views of Wellfleet Harbor. Location was great. The beach is right across the street, and you can walk into downtown Wellfleet. Check in was easy, and the cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Cottage!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Wellfleet at Dunes Edge! We enjoyed meals on the side deck, and the outside shower was great. Walking into town, bike riding, close-by golf, and the fabulous beaches made for a great vacation! Wicked Oyster was fabulous and we enjoyed Mac’s Shack and the Beachcomber!

Excellent family vacation

Stayed 6 days with my son, daughter-in-law and their 7-month-old. Cottage clean, comfortable, convenient location. Quiet, pleasant area. Overall a very good experience. On my last morning a shrill alarm went off in or near bathroom, lasted about 3 minutes, puzzling, I left note for cleaning crew about it suggesting owners might want to know.

The location was perfect. The cottage had plenty of space for the 3 of us, and the views were great. There were no extras there like enough toilet paper, no napkins, no coffee, no condiments, the gas grill was empty, and no charcoal for the other grill. The place wasn't as clean as we would expect either. Overall, these are fairly minor things, and we did enjoy our stay there.

Adorable cottage!

This cottage was perfect for an October beach getaway. Location is fantastic with beautiful views of the bay from your livingroom and also the spacious deck. Everything is very well thought out and very attractive, while still being functional. Loved the beach decor and the personalized touches such as the picture of the original builder of the cottages. The cottage was cozy with heat and there were extra blankets. We didn’t get to use the outside grill or shower, but would be great additions for summer visitors. We loved walking on the beach to get oyster shells each morning and then taking day trips to Provincetown and Harwichport- Wellfleet is very centrally located to lots of beautiful spots including the Audubon Sanctuary and Marconi beach. We would definitely stay again!

What an adorable, quaint cottage. Perfect location short, walk to downtown with awesome restaurants, basketball courts, playground, skate park, pickle ball courts. Walk across to gorgeous bayside beach. Incredible views. When you time the tides right perfect at high tide & mid tide warm water with nice waves. Our daughter had a blast in the tubes playing in the waves. Beach is private and we were there during the Fourth of July and it still never got crowded. This cottage comes with everything you could possibly need and was perfect size for our family of 3. Fully stocked with clean sheets and beach towels, as well as shower towels, face cloths, coffee, pot blender, great knife set, pots and pans. Nice outdoor shower. Welfleet is a gem of an area and Dunes Edge cottage is a dream vacation spot

Great time! The cabin was well stocked, dishes, pans , beach towels, charcoal & gas even some spices!! Outdoor shower was a nice surprise. The view & outdoor space was awesome Would defiantly rent again. Rent with confidence. The only call out are the stairs, well worth it for the best view on the beach. Thank you we loved it

Great spot!

I’ve spent many summers renting cottages in Wellfleet and Truro- this is by far the best one! It’s in a perfect location, has a great outdoor space and it was very clean and well equipped. I always bring my own knives, corkscrew, can opener but didn’t need to. I know this is the first summer this cottage has been up for rent. I hope Vacasa can keep it as clean and nice as it it now! PS-love me an outdoor shower in the summer ☀️ Would definitely stay here again. The stairs up would be the only thing if you have someone who has trouble with that. But the view from the cottage is worth the steps.

A little bit of heaven....

This beautiful little cottage was everything we were promised and even more. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-organized and I was able to cook meals without any problems. The cottage was tastefully furnished and a pleasure to stay in. We had a lovely view of the bay from our deck and from our living room and Mayo Beach was just steps away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great bed, beach access across the road, nice deck, full-size fridge, well-stocked kitchen - except sponges (?) - good shower, partially obstructed view of water but bright & sunny, close to hiking, sweet little town. Clean, good wifi, Netflix account, and outside plug for EV charging. Bring your own sheets, towels - and toilet paper (surprise there!) Email communication pretty slow with Vacasa though we never tried to phone.
