Had an awesome long weekend at The Knoll. The house was perfect. Cozy, clean and very welcoming. The deck on the river was great to sit and take in the view. Got to see the bald eagle who lives across the river. Sitting on the couch watching the fire was a great time. A perfect weekend.

Wonderful location. Quiet, peaceful, lovely paths to the Delaware with a very beautiful deck with rocking chairs to relax and get away and renew. We had an unusual problem with the water pressure and they were very responsive and had it immediately taken care of. Nice screened in porch and although we didn’t use the kayaks or fire pits both would be a great addition to your visit. Thanks Liz for being so pleasant and accommodating!

Great property overall. We were looking to get away and relax and we did. It could have been cleaner--kitchen and bathrooms could use some extra attention for sure. No bathroom on the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are! Also, the pictures of the property don't show how close you are o to other houses--and dogs living on both sides barked a lot!

Cabin is well stocked with EVERYTHING you could need for a river trip and cabin vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were games hiden all over the home as well as a full basement with washer and dryer. The yard was stocked with kayaks, canoes, and wood for the camp fire! The host was patient, kind, and accommodating on every level and I would move in there in a heartbeat. I cannot wait to book again next summer or even maybe for a winter stay!

Nice hideaway

We were in the area for a family reunion and need a place to stay for the weekend. While we didn't get to spend much time at the house itself, we did enjoy the peaceful quiet setting. The house was adequate, comfortable, clean, cozy. I wish we had more time to spend on the deck down by the river. If there is a future family reunion in the area, I would book it again.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful home surrounded by nature. It is so peaceful. We saw several bald eagles down by the river, and hummingbirds, chipmunks, and even a black rat snake crawl down from a tree on the property. We can’t wait to come back again!

Nature Lovers Delight

This home is located in a nature lovers paradise. The house is very nice and the covered porch is great. There is a path down to the river. They have a beautiful large deck overlooking the water and a staircase leading into the river. And the woods surround everything. A true quiet getaway.Liz was so easy to work with and quickly got back to me with any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay!

The Knoll

The Knoll is the perfect peaceful get away we were looking for. The owner was very kind! The house was comfortable, big enough and has everything you need. The best part was the property! The dogs loved walking through the woods and sitting on the big porch being with nature and so did I!

Our stay at the knolls

The property is very nice. The rules were very easy to follow. The house was extremely clean and we left it the same way we came. We cleaned up very good before we left. Put all the dishes away silverware. All the appliances were great. The upstairs fireplace was good. It really warmed up the house nicely and it provided great ambiance. We did not try the wood stove downstairs in the basement.

Lovely Cabin

We had an amazing time this past weekend at the cabin. Everything was wonderful. The only negative- there is no tv in the cabin anywhere. The advertisement should mention that. Many people want to get away and disconnect but the option of a TV to watch movies should be available or at least specified in the description that there is no TV. We improvised and had an amazing weekend.

Cozy Getaway

Cute cabin in the woods, no frills- exactly as described. Clean, comfy, well equipped kitchen, secluded. The snow/ice made the road going in a little difficult, and the yard/deck by the river unusable-- but we expected this going in February. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, even in the chilly weather. Tons of puzzles and games, ( NO TV, but great wi-fi for those that need). We had a very peaceful escape from reality.

Anniversary Weekend

Beautiful Location for a secluded anniversary weekend. The house was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. The wooded property was amazing, and we loved the trail to a deck overlooking over the Delaware. Even though it was a chilly weekend we still spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the eagles. Hope to visit again soon.

We have been hosting guests since 2009. The Knoll is a unique cabin and the Delaware River is a gorgeous spot that we want to share with others.

Why they chose this property

As soon as we drove the dirt road to look at the cabin, we had a feeling, this is what we have been searching for. The cabin sits on the Delaware River, beautiful in any season. It is so remote, quiet - a true get-away.

What makes this property unique

The rockers on the front porch offer hours of reading or deep discussions over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine. The deck remains our favorite, looking over the river where a couple of bald eagles are nesting. The crystal clear river offers swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, or simply some old fashioned rock skipping. The area is quiet and there is much nature to observe. The cabin is quaint, charming and has everything you need.
