The Neighborhood:
When visiting Venice Beach, you are entering the most walkable and bike friendly city in all of Los Angeles. We recommend exploring the great restaurant scene on Abbot Kinney, Rose Ave and Main/Pacific, as well as on the boardwalk. There has been a revival of the restaurant scene, and the shopping has always been top notch, especially on Abbot Kinney.
Be sure to walk Abbot Kinney, especially on the weekends, if you want to see a great example of the vibrancy of this community. If you’re up for a bike ride, take the path North all the way to the start of Malibu, or there is a secret path through Marina Del Rey that can take you all the way down on a bike path to Redondo.
We recommend walking the walk streets, and seeing all of the unique architecture throughout the entire community. The canals are also worth checking out to view the unique history of Venice Beach.
Getting Around:
Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.
If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well. Venice Beach is also a very walkable and bike friendly community.
Other Things to Note:
Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.
- By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.
- Additional charges to be applied to invoice after request to book. Mandatory charges include taxes, service fee, insurance, pet fee, CC fee, etc.
- You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.
- Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
All over 30 days require a mid-stay cleaning and a fee for utilities. Please ask your reservation associate for more details.

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out.
PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For 30+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.

2) All refunds are subject to a mandatory 4% processing fee, including reservations that qualify for free cancellation.
3)The rental agreement must be signed prior to arrival. Additional fees for lost keys, damages, additional cleaning, and items left behind will apply.
