Advertised as 25 acres, we imagined a private area with woods and a pond. But there were several other cabins just s stones throw away. The tony home itself was very nice and had everything needed for our week stay. The owner was very charming, responsive and attentive. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

This is a great two person option that is secluded, quiet, clean and cozy!
This tiny home was so perfect for our weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We brought along our 3 year old and it was just so much fun. We spent some time in nearby Hendersonville, and Asheville was only about a 45 minute drive. Such a cute place to relax at!
We had a great time! Perfect location for hiking and cycling. Everything was clean and just as described! Would recommend and plan to come back! Our dog loved it as well :)
Very nice and clean tiny house. In a great remote location but still close to necessities. Had a great time walking around the land and pond with my companion Lucy!
I have long wanted to stay in a tiny home. It was awesome. I found everything i needed for a week stay with my dog. We did some hiking and a lot of relaxing. I did most cooking on the grill.
Everything was great. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was having to open and close the gates at the driveway. A power gate would be really nice. However, the security and privacy was 100% worth it. We had everything we needed in the tiny home and it was a cozy cabin. 30 min drive to anywhere we wanted to go which was nice.
The house has a great location, is exceptionally tidy, and has a very well stocked kitchen. Host responds quickly.
Please be aware that two surveillance cameras with night vision, which were undisclosed on the site's profile as required by Vrbo, are trained at the house and shed, and located about 12-15 feet away from you when you're hanging outside by the grill.
Property is fairly new and clean and well maintained. It is very private. If you are looking for seclusion this may be your ticket. The pond setting is lovely but it is a bit of a walk from the cabin. The cabin is very remote so expect a drive to anywhere. Our Verizon service was at the bare mininum but the wifi the host provided was good. It is a tiny home so be expecting the most cramped living conditions. The loft bedroom provides just enough head room to sit up in your bed.
Overall, wonderful stay. Great location for exploring local area. Peaceful with walking trails and pond. Tiny house had everything needed for 4-night stay. Appreciated stairs versus ladder going up to sleeping loft. Sleeping on mattress on floor may be more comfortable with a higher quality mattress. Four nights in a loft with limited headroom is probably 2 nights too many for tall people and people with stiff joints. Gazebo outside afforded more time outside and not feeling constrained by limited space inside. Appreciated access to laundry facility.
We have never stayed in a tiny house and this property was absolutely perfect. We had no issues when we inquired about bringing our 2 dogs. We were blown away by what the property provided. We will pack lighter for our next stay! There are clean towels, extra blankets and pillows, absolutely every kitchen need is tucked away into the adorable and very functional kitchen. There is a great flat area of land to the side of the house and fire pit where our boys could run and play without having to worry about them. Everything about this place is so comforting and cozy. We hope to come back again soon to explore more and relax. Highly recommend!!
The space is within wild forest. The forest is peaceful and there are black bear. Black bear are skiddish and can be seen only of you are really quiet. The surrounding people are rarely seen and all interactions were friendly. Wildlife seen: Black Bear, Turtle, Rabbit, Brown Anole Lizard, Birds
The space is small and yet cozy for 1 plus pet or small company (I had up to 3 for dinner). The fire pit is lovely and stars at night are gorgeous. The space functions best with high airflow if cooking inside cabin. Both top windows by the bed stayed open for most of the trip. CO monitors and fire alarms tend to get sensitive if fans are not flowing for cooking sessions, fire fighters confirmed a high airflow is all that was needed. Over all a great stay in a BEAUTIFUL forest.
I picked this location because I was looking for solitude and not something in the middle of everything. It met that requirement and I was able to get a lot of rest. I had never stayed in a tiny house and I won't in the future. Nothing bad about this particular property, it just isn't my style. It was just too tiny for me. But I was there to relax and I had no trouble doing that. The location is very nice and there is plenty to do within a short drive. There was no cell service in the immediate area so I had to rely on the satellite internet for any phone service. So if you are looking for a place to unplug for a few days, this is a good location.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. We stayed here for two days and never saw another person. There are properties nearby, but not so close to be bothered. The house is a true tiny home, which means the BR is a loft upstairs. You cannot fully stand in the loft. If you have mobility issues, this isn't the place for you. The property had everything we needed to prepare food and whatever else you need. The pergola outdoor space is where we spent most of the time and makes the space feel much larger. Be aware, as of others have noted, that there are cameras attached to a tree pointed at the pergola and the house, which should be disclosed in my opinion, but whatever. First time experience, so we have nothing to compare it with, but overall, we enjoyed our time here nonetheless.
We had a great weekend getaway in the tiny house. It is located conveniently near great food (highly recommend the Flat Rock Wood Room) and areas to get outside and enjoy nature. Despite the rain one day, we enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time celebrating our Anniversary! We picked this location based on several factors. During the drive from the Beach we stopped to see Pretty Place Chapel. Then spent the day in Gatlinburg, TN and another day in Asheville. The home was very clean and cared for. Stocked kitchen, we didn’t eat any meals there since we were always on the run. But the tiny home was comfortable and we slept well! Thank you!
Took the trip to celebrate my wife's 50th. We've always wanted to stay in a tiny house & now we can say we've done it and we're very pleased with the cleanliness, amenities, and location. Lots to see and do within a 30 min drive. We were able to find an incredible sunrise spot as well. Wife really enjoyed it.

About the host

I grew up in the Northeast and would visit my grandmother in NC often. I have always loved vacationing in the NC mountains.
Why they chose this property
I bought this property because my girls and I loved the mountains of NC. There is so much to do and see and the people are great. This property has tons of peace and privacy but is within 20 minutes of down town Hendersonville and all the shopping, restaurants, and exploring you would ever want.
What makes this property unique
We love the cool mountain air, spring and fall colors, and having a place to get away from it all, yet be close enough to all the activities you could ever want. You get the best of both worlds. Relax under the stars while you make smores by the fire pit. Hike down to the pond or stream and listen to the relaxing sounds of the water and birds.
