We enjoyed our stay at The Aegean on Holiday Isle in Destin. The property itself was beautiful, communication was great, and we really appreciated being able to check in early. That was especially nice since the day we arrived ended up being one of the best days weather-wise due to the storms. The air conditioning worked well and kept the condo nice and cool, and there was a good supply of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and towels. However, the condo does need some maintenance and attention to a few details. Several knobs were loose, the kitchen faucet was loose, and the drain plugs were not attached in any of the sinks or the bathtub. The oven knob was broken, some lamps did not work, and some electrical outlets were not functioning. The ceiling fans also seemed to turn on and off randomly. The front door handle takes some getting used to because you have to lift it up to open the door from the inside. There were also a few things that affected our comfort during the stay. The entertainment center is too large for the living room layout and blocks the TV from certain seating areas. The blue couch has a large stain that could use attention. The beds in the second bedroom are quite firm, although we appreciated that they did not sleep hot. The second bedroom would also benefit from curtains in addition to the existing shades, as a large orange outdoor light shines directly into the room and illuminates the entire space at night. Outsi
