We are not really picky, but when you have to get a stick to clean cobwebs off to get to bug feces cover front door, that's bad.Great setting, toilet about to come out of floor. Can't see out of the windows they were so dirty. I wonder how long it's been since the owner was there. Housekeeping needs a big refresher class. It could be paradise.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. The house was perfect for both me and my wife, a “10”. Inside, the house was spotlessly clean, and everything was as it should be. We especially enjoyed the afternoons and evenings on the deck, watching the occasional boat pass by and the occasional fish jump. The outside was a little lackluster, but, no worries, as that just comes from being in the woods near a lake. The house is not exactly “secluded” as there are neighbors, however it feels secluded, and is quite private in that it is a wide lot and neighbors cannot see through the trees and bushes.My only disappointment was that I had planned to dock my boat in the dock’s covered slip. Unfortunately, this was not possible as the boat lift was up, blocking entry and it was inoperable. It rained on our arrival day, but since we had nice weather for the rest of our stay, this was not a serious problem.I had spoken with the owner on the day of our arrival. She was quite pleasant and friendly, and seemed genuinely concerned that we had a pleasant stay.
