10 minutes drive from downtown Fort Collins. In central Laporte, walking distance to the Poudre River, Me Oh My Coffee and Pie, or even the Swing Station to see local live music. Ride bicycles to the Poudre River Trail down the street to all your favorite Fort Collins breweries in less than 30 minutes. 25 minutes drive to the Mishawaka Amphitheater. 10 minutes drive to CSU campus. Also, minutes from Lory State Park. This is a great location for those who enjoy all things nature and also the Fort Collins city life! This guest house is located on a family property 1acre homestead. If farm smells make you uncomfortable this may not be the place for you. There are free ranging hens on property as well.

We loved this quaint, pet-friendly cottage. It was a perfect location for us to visit family, hike, and eat. We enjoyed waking up to the chickens!!! We also were able to feed them, which our 4-year-old loved.

Everything was great. The dogs and chickens are an interesting twist. The house was clean and in a great location. Although there were chickens, I didn't hear them in the morning so noise wasn't a problem. Next time I'm in Laporte, I would say here again. Thanks.

Why they chose this property

You will love Laporte, everyone does! I think of Laporte as an extension of the artist and nature loving district of Fort Collins. The stretch of the poudre Trail in Laporte and Bellvue is the most beautiful. We are In the perfect location if you want to experience the horsetooth reservoir, go river rafting, see a show at the Mishawaka or bike the poudre trail. If you like beer and want to know about new Belgium just ask my husband Tim. We look forward to your booking! If you need something metal repaired bring it along on your trip. Feel free to ask me about welding as well if it interests you.
