Bright spacious studio apartment in a building directly on a pristine stretch of white sandy beach. Condominium Stella Maris is centrally located at 1 Condado Avenue in the heart of El Condado, across from the pool of the San Juan Stellaris Marriott Resort and Casino.
The fifth floor location allows for spectacular views, but is still low enough for you to be lulled to sleep by the surf at night. A full wall of sliding glass doors on the ocean side opens up to tropical breezes and a panoramic vista. Black out curtains allow you to sleep late in the morning or have a siesta when in the mood.
This cheery studio apartment was recently renovated with travetine floors throughout including the bathroom, a new flat screen TV and high speed internet There is original artwork throughout and you certainly know you're in the Caribbean. This rent by owner condo is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy your vacation in Puerto Rico.
With the endless possibilities of natural disasters and health emergencies travel insurance is available through VRBO and recommended.

We had the best time staying at Eric’s VRBO right on the beach! The view was incredible and there were so many great restaurants and walking distance. Eric is an amazing host, we got to meet him when we arrived so he walked us through the whole arrival process. If we return to PR, we will definitely come back here! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Oceanview Stay

The condo was clean, convenient and very secure. The views of the ocean were incredible, the bed was very comfy and, although it was hot while we visited, the breeze that came through the doors prevented us from touching the AC. We were steps away from the ocean, minutes away from delicious food and a quick taxi/Uber/Lyft from Viejo San Juan.

Eric was the most communicative and helpful host I’ve worked with so far. He provided excellent, detailed information about how to access the condo, the area around the property, and things to do in San Juan. Amazing place, great location

We had everything we needed for a short stay in Condado area. Amazing views, ocean breeze are breathtaking. Apartment is fully equipped with all you need. Convenient commute to old town. Groceries, cafes, restaurants- all within minutes. The beach is vibrant though swimming might be challenging, it’s not quiet waters. We loved it though.

Cozy stay with the best view

The perfect San Juan spot

The location of this place is perfect. Not only is it literally on the water (which makes for perfect views and beach trips) but it’s central to everything you will need for a trip to San Juan. It was clean and communication with the owner was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience here.

A beautiful relaxing condo in the heart of Condado.

From signing the agreement to leaving for home, Eric has been the greatest host. The condo is very clean comfortable, safe and completely stocked with everything you need for a comfortable weeks stay. The picture is what you get, a beach view that you will not want to leave. We never turned on the air conditioning, the ocean breeze and sound of the waves, created a perfect night’s sleep. Walk out the door and you are either on the beach or in the middle of restaurants and convenience stores.Eric helped create a dream vacation with a beautiful room and his never ending hospitality.

Best Beach View & Access

This was the best property on Condado beach. As you walk the sandy shore you’ll notice very few balconies facing the ocean, and none closer to the beach with an unobstructed view. The condo was very clean and well decorated with local art. A true immersion into the PR lifestyle. Definitely staying here again!

Perfect Spot

Had a wonderful stay in Eric’s apartment. The best location you could ask for. Right on the beach and close to tons of restaurants, bars, and everything you could need. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you could need or want, including beach chairs and a cooler. Eric left very good directions and lots of tips on things to do. I will definitely be back!

Nice, comfortable apartment

The apartment had a lot of amenities. Stocked well. We had some trouble accessing the property but it was probably user error. We were a little disappointed with the beach due all the seagrass. Also I do wish we had known it is one of the most dangerous beaches. The neighborhood was great. Good food drinks nearby.

Great location!

Can't beat the location and price of this 5th floor condo. Literally right on the beach. 1-3 minute walk to restaurants and stores. Eric was personable and if you meet the maintenance fellow, George, he's a full of positive energy! The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is because there's a strong cigarette smell in the room, you get used to it after a couple minutes but get reminded of it every time you walk into the room. Definitely want to stay here again in the future!

Even Better Than Advertised!

This place was perfect! I've rented my fair share of condos over the years through VRBO and other sites, so I'm used to arriving to slight differences in what was originally advertised, but this property was EXACTLY as Eric said it was, and if anything, it was even better than advertised! Is the water really that color blue? Yes. Is the place really that clean and pretty? Yes. Was the unit stocked with everything we needed aside from basic food from the local store? Yes. It was exactly what we needed, and we are so grateful to the condo owner, Eric, for supplying everything so well. I didn't even worry we'd run out of the basics like toilet paper and soap. That may seem like a small detail, but when you're in a unit far from home for the better part of a week or more, you want to be relaxed, especially while on vacation. The card key and keys system was so much easier than I thought it would be too, and having the beach chairs--cleverly stored just outside the condo so you don't bring any sand in--was great! The street itself and the neighborhood are extremely relaxed and safe, zero worries whatsoever, and tons of restaurants and shops everywhere nearby. Honestly, future renter, trust me. This place is the real deal! Eric was always a text or quick message away too if you have questions. We loved it! You'll love it!

Awesome View! Amazing Location! Beautiful Unit!

This has got to be the best place in all of Condado! The view is second to none. Breathtaking! The decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. It had everything we needed. It’s definitely the best location. There were unlimited places to eat in walking distance of just about anything you want. Walgreens is on the same block as this place. Oh, and Eric is a great host giving us all the info we needed. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! If you want all, this is place. Thank you Eric for your hospitality and we hope you are still there when we come back to Puerto Rico. We absolutely fell in love and didn’t want to leave.

Eric was a wonderful host even though we just talked over the phone and the place was exactly as he explained. He sent me instructions with pictures and texts you couldn't possibly make a mistake getting into the facility and the lock box and the codes Etc. The housekeeper was adorable and helpful the maintenance man was right there to help and Alex who also had a few vrbo's in the building was very helpful also. Thank you Eric it was a wonderful experience!

Hit the beach!

This listing is as advertised! Excellent accommodations with careful consideration to guests needs. My wife and I spent a week at Erics studio on the beach. Plenty to do within walking distance, or Uber to nearby Old San Juan. Would love to return someday and let the sound of the ocean lull us to sleep….

I recently retired after being employed for 2 decades as an airline flight attendant. I have lived in Puerto Rico for more than 40 years, residing in Stella Maris since 1987. I love living in San Juan which has a nice mix of beach and city and enjoys almost perfect weather the entire year long. I live in the same building as the rental which allows me to attend quickly to any issues that arise. I strive to provide the level of service that I would like to receive if I were renting form someone else.

Why they chose this property

I chose to live in Condominium Stella Maris primarily for location. You simply can not beat the view. Being on the beach at the end of Condado Avenue, we are right in the heart of things. When you walk out on the balcony you feel as if you were out at sea on a cruise ship. The waves lapping the beach lull you to sleep and the breeze blowing in is soothing and comforting.
The building itself has 11 floors and a friendly neighborly feel to it.

What makes this property unique

Almost anything you want to do is accessible by foot. There are a multitude of restaurants in the neighborhood, from fast food to five star and shops from Cartier to Walgreens. For exercise you can swim in the ocean, stroll around the lagoon or go to one of several gyms nearby. The place can be either peaceful and relaxing or there is plenty of lively action in the casinos and clubs in the area..
Personally I like to stroll around the nearby Condado lagoon in the early morning for fresh air and exercise.
