The 'barndominium' had everything we needed. It was cozy, clean, and close to Clemson University. It was so nice to rest comfortably before moving my student in to his dorm. I hope to stay again in the future.

Book it!! It’s adorable, cozy and perfect! So close to Clemson’s campus but also tucked into the woods so you feel like you’re escaping into nature. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to hangout in the house. We rented this for our first Clemson family weekend and it was even better than the pictures! Driving back and forth to tailgate, shower and head back out was 7 mins each way. Will definitely stay here again! Host was awesome!!

The barndominium is cute, cozy and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need. We were really comfortable there and found it was super conveniently located, close to shopping, and an easy drive into both Seneca and Clemson. But more than anything else, we appreciated the hosts. We ran into a challenge before we even arrived and they literally solved it for us-- graciously going way out of their way to help people who they'd never even met before. They are such kind and inspiring people!!!

Clemson visit

We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway. The Clemson cottage was perfect for our 2 night visit to see our two daughters who attend Clemson. Thanks Kim for a great stay!

The host was so accommodating and so nice. I did not realize the barndominium was in the host’s backyard, but it was actually really convenient for when we asked for the outside lights and to use the fire pit. The owner came out and gathered us some wood in a wheelbarrow. He also gave us some extra time for check out which was nice. The home was just as pictured, and there were tons of Christian elements throughout. I especially loved the “need a Bible? Take a Bible” basket and the box for prayer requests. I only wish we had stayed longer! Would definitely stay again!

Spacious retreat near Clemson

Loved this spacious retreat just minutes from Clemson. Large, open living room with a comfy couch, cozy bed and bath with a steamy shower, and kitchen with everything we needed for a week-long stay. Thankful to have a place we could bring our dogs. Highly recommend!!

Great Place for Clemson Visit

Our family of our four small dog stayed at the Clemson Cottage while we visited from Athens for our niece's graduation from Clemson. The cottage was perfect! The host was so kind to have it all lit up for our after hours arrival. The location was convenient for getting to downtown Clemson and doing a little grocery shopping. We'd definitely stay there again.

Homeowner was very communicative before and during my stay. The place suited my needs during my stay in town to help daughter with college move-in. Good location. Close to Clemson U. Not a dealbreaker for me, but the unit is at the end of a steep downward incline driveway made up of large gravel rocks, which would be difficult for someone with any mobility issues. Would stay here again due to its close proximity to Clemson U.

Clemson for birthday

I stayed at the property for my daughter’s birthday. Property is as described. Host was extremely helpful and easily reached. My only observation is that if you are planning on making any meals while staying here be aware that there are limited dishes, pots and appliances (has oven/stove, refrigerator and coffee maker). This is not a criticism just an observation as not all people plan to cook while on vacation. 😊. I would recommend staying here for a nice get away that is close to campus.
