Kona Reef A-24 - True Oceanfront Condo

Kona Reef has commenced a spalling project that will affect the entire complex in 2026. The project will be completed in sections. Spalling work is noisy and messy. Scaffolding will be put into place. Lanais will be inaccessible during repair work. Lanai furniture will be relocated to the living room while the spalling work is completed on each lanai.
Prior to booking a 2026 reservation at Kona Reef, please call us for an update on the project and how it might affect you during the dates you wish to be there.

Honu Haven
Kona Reef Unit A24 is a beautifully appointed one-bedroom, one-bathroom oceanfront condo nestled in the heart of Historic Kailua Village. Step into the unit and let the soothing sound of the ocean wash away all your worries and the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Features a split AC system, ensuring a comfortable living and sleeping experience in both the living area and bedroom. Sliding glass door is coated with a UV film to shield against the afternoon sun's heat. Living room has a new sleeper sofa, providing extra comfort for guests.

Unit A24 also comes complete with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for our guests' convenience. While some snorkel gear may be left behind by previous guests, please note that we do not provide snorkel equipment. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun of snorkeling, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.
Kona Reef Resort is an oceanfront condominium complex located next to the beautiful sandy beach and a popular surf spot called Honl's. This beautifully landscaped property offers unobstructed ocean views. Enjoy watching surf activities at Honl's Beach, humpback whale watching during the winter months, and spinner dolphin sightings throughout the year. End each day with a breathtaking sunset from the comfort of your lanai.

Additionally, during high swells, strong winds, or rain, sitting on the lanai may become uncomfortable. Please carefully consider these factors when making your booking. This beautiful place was a home away from home with the best ocean views! The owners are such gracious hosts and put such great efforts into having everything there that you will need to have a wonderful stay! We loved its cleanliness, adorable decorations and both the main bedroom bed and pull out sofa beds were super comfortable to sleep on. It really helped to have air conditioning in both the bedroom and livingrooms as it can get a bit humid and we were in 7th heaven inside. We are definatley coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was updated, clean and very comfortable. It was walking distance to Kona shops and restaurants. After a day of exploring the island or visiting a beach it was nice to come back to. The beach chairs and umbrella, cooler and snorkel gear were also very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the pool and cooking area although the grills could be updated. They didn’t always heat up. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the waves, surfers and of course the beautiful sunsets.
