Welcome to HooBear's Creekside Cabin in Sevierville, TN

We are located inside the beautiful Shagbark Resort in the Walden Creek/Wear’s Valley area, "HooBear Creekside" is just outside Pigeon Forge, TN and provides the safety and security of a 24 hour gated guard, and you can enjoy access to the beautiful community tennis courts or swimming pool for your enjoyment! It won’t take long for you to relax and claim a spot that’s all your own. There is a dog walk park, play grounds, picnic areas, tennis courts, pool in the summer!

Upon pulling into the driveway you will be taken into "mountain time," with the sounds of a rushing creek and nature vibes. It is usual to see wildlife during your stay! When entering the main floor of our cabin, you will wall into a charming cozy cabin - that will lend you constant vibes and sounds from the creek!

You will find a fully stocked brand new kitchen and cabinets stocked full of dishes and cookware to feed the entire family. A spacious living room offers a beautiful floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace with a fully modernized entertainment selection with flat screen LED TV, with a pull out sofa and leather furniture to relax on. There is a queen bedroom and double bunk bed room on the main floor both offering flat screen Tv's!
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and accompanying bathroom offer another flat screen TV and a queen bed for your own quiet getaway. Upstairs you will also find the game room - featuring arcade games and pool/ping pong table!

Laundry area is in basement below.

Head outside for grilling or enjoy relaxing in the Hot Tub. There is room for the entire family to enjoy sweet mountain breezes and breathtaking mountain views. Listen to the creek that is right by the cabin! The kids love playing in the creek as well!

From the time you walk in the front door to the convenient location to everything in the Smoky Mountain area, we are confident that when you will love Hoobear Creekside, you’ll be creating memories that will last a lifetime with your family, friends and loved ones.

Great place for families

The property had everything that we needed. Once a year in my family goes on a vacation, we chose this location and we're very happy with our decision. The creek beside the cabin was very soothing. We enjoyed the amenities at the resort such as the swimming pool, the dog park, and the pickleball courts. The cabin was close to everything. We would definitely return to this cabin.

Hoobear Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay and the coziness of this cabin. Everything we needed was a short distance away. This property was perfect for our little group and we would certainly rent again.

Beautiful cabin with scenery

This place is beautiful! There's a creek right in front of it to play in and enjoy. Check-in and check out was so simple. The cabin itself is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Family Getaway

This property is in the perfect location just outside of the main tourist areas of Pigeon Forge. It was quiet and very comfortable. It was a great home base for our adventures. The grandkids spent hours in the creek every day and loved every minute of it. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Evangeline was very responsive and helpful during our stay. I highly recommend this home.

Great family getaway

Would come back. Such a beautiful peaceful place to go. The sound of the creek is amazing! Close to the strip lots to do. Love that it was pet friendly had a mini dog park. The host was quick to respond and was there to take care of whatever we needed!

A week stay in Sevierville

The stay was really enjoyable the sound of the creek was amazing, the only draw back was the pool table there was not a lot of room to play. The property manager was really helpful and kind. Will rent from them again

A wonderful winter escape

It was a cute place in a good neighborhood with not too many hills to travel up to get to. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Dog friendly and spacious for what we needed. Definitely worth the money spent. Easy to get into and close enough to everything :)

Solid Mountain Stay

Overall we were pleased with our stay, especially for the value. It is obvious that the owners are upgrading things throughout the cabin which is nice. We used the brand new grill and it was perfect and all of the beds were very comfortable. There were a few issues with the showers that can be easily repaired. The location is great and feels very private. We would certainly stay here again.

Hi! We have since fixed the upstairs shower - the issue was the shower head didn't point straight down so caused the water to go out of the shower - we have changed the head now so all should be good. Thanks for your feedback.

Fantastic Week

This Cabin was truly lovely. My wife and I and our 2 dogs had the best time. We enjoyed so many adventures during the day, and quiet evenings at the Cabin. Evangeline was such a fantastic host who bent over backwards for us. She was very communicative and helpful the entire time. You won’t regret booking this as your Cabin for how ever long you are staying.

Scenic and Spacious Mountain Gem

Our stay occured the week of Thanksgiving 2022 and we were so elated with our booking. We were a bit last minute but our stay was really enjoyable. The Christmas theme was really warm and inviting. It was our family of 4 and we had abundant space. Our 2 nephews stayed the last night and they were very comfortable in their own room. Being able to include our 2 small dogs was really important for us. This property is really accomodating. We would recommend.

Great Cabin, Excellent Area, Fantastic Service

My family (7 of us) and our dogs just got back home from, what my kids say, is their favorite vacation (and we’ve done vacation every year for the last 20 years). HooBear’s Creekside Cabin didn’t disappoint at all! It was perfect and let us have a great time as a family. We all enjoyed the property and sat on the deck every morning just listening to the creek. We saw plenty of bear there as well. Eva was absolutely great to deal with and answered any question we had extremely fast. Check in was a breeze and check out was even easier. I recommend HooBear to anyone looking for the perfect mountain getaway!!

We were really looking forward to staying at this cabin! It looked so clean and cute in the pictures. The floor and couch were dirty, the upstairs bathroom sink was stopped up and that shower leaked into the first floor. The outside seemed a bit untidy. The hot tub water was yellow. Not worth the price!

Hi! I am sorry to read this - we have since re angled the shower head to one that points straight down instead of at an angle. We also replaced all the beds and the hot tub with a better filtration for the well water. We dump the hot tub each time. Thanks for your feedback.

Cabin by a creek

The cabin was very average. There were many details that showed maintenance was needed/overdue. The fire pit was rusted and broke. One of the rocking chairs was rotten and broken when say on. We added it to the pile of other broken chairs downstairs. Cracks in caulking around shower. Slow leak in main bathroom sink. One pool cue for a pool table that was very wobbly. The creek was the star of the show and should be shown more in the pics.

Was a nice little cabin, Location was great. They were doing a little remodeling but this did not effect our stay. There was an issue with water pressure which the host had taken care of asap. Overall was a great stay and the host could not have been any better, She was great!!
