Nice and cozy little cabin on a quiet, peaceful wooded lot nestled in a community with huge trees and access to the beach! The bed was comfortable and we loved the private haven out back. We saw deer daily and also wild turkeys! Enjoyed the fire pit and taking out dogs on a walk each morning and evening! Would definitely stay again!
This place was a cozy little get away that was perfect for my family of 4. Property was beautiful, you felt like you were in the woods camping, equipped with a fire ring and then had the convenience of walking down to the beach to enjoy Lake Michigan and have a beach getaway. It was easy to get to and was very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to South Haven to grab breakfast at a café or dinner in the evening and enjoy all the town has to offer.
Philip and Krista's home is so cute and perfectly updated, while still keeping the character of a cottage. We stayed for a weekend in the fall so it was a bit chilly in the bathroom and bunk house, but the hosts left us everything we needed to stay warm and were easy to get a hold of for anything we needed. The location is gorgeous and the property is so charming!
It was such a cute little cottage. Tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. My teen daughter loved staying in the bunk house. We brought our bikes and that was fun. Loved that checkout wasn’t until 11:00 am
Location and property great! Though as someone who likes to read before turning out the light for the night, a lamp in the bedroom would have been nice.
Beautiful experience from start to finish. It was truly magical and the wildlife around the cabin didn't feel real. Deers, Black Squirrels, Rabbits, Wild Turkeys, etc... They were everywhere you looked! We will be back..
This place was such a cute perfect get away! The home was very clean, all updated, and very peaceful. The private super close neighborhood beach was the highlight! Our dogs loved the big yard too! South Haven shopping and restaurants were a close drive which was so nice. The hosts were also great. They left a nice guide with different hiking trails, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay again!
This little cabin was clean, cute and as described! We saw the beautiful sunset from the lookout point which is in walking distance. My teenagers/young adults loved the retro vibe and enjoyed playing records on the record player. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend.

Excellent cabin. Clean. Such a beautiful quiet area. If your looking for a cabin-glamping feel with the unsalted ocean vibe, this is it. Walking distance to a magnificent overlook of Lake Michigan. We watched the sunsets from there every night we stayed. 15-20 minute drive to Saugatuck or South Haven where there are shops, restaurants and beaches. Owner is very responsive, friendly and accommodating.
We didn’t check the weather before coming out to South Haven. While parking was difficult in the snow, it made the property all the more beautiful! The cabin was the perfect size for my partner and I plus our dog. Everything was spotless and the space heaters kept the cabin warm. I recommend bringing a snow shovel and food for cooking if staying during the winter since traveling was a bit rough on the roads. The owner Phillip was easy to get ahold of and even answered my call late at night when we were having trouble getting into the cabin (was totally my fault). Anyways this was a lovely romantic getaway and can’t wait to visit again!
