The host was extremely friendly prepared the cabin for our stay , readied the fireplace so we could us right away and it snowed a bit and he came out early morning and had the place clear for us to move around .

Cozy cabin on a beautiful lake

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin retreat. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the juke box was a special treat. The lake is absolutely beautiful. Great, responsive host.

We had a great stay at the cabin. We used the community dock and swimming area, beautiful huge lake!! Used the Jukebox nonstop, what fun!!! Minutes from Bethel Woods, saw a concert. Enjoyed the Catskills!!!

Unexpected beauty

Insanely close to Bethel Woods. The property looks like it was clipped from a fairy tail book with a beautiful lake a few steps away. Highly recommended.

Weekend getaway

This is such an awesome place, it was very quiet and clean. Gary was great and had a few suggestions of what to do. It was just what was needed to recharge and relax away from everyone. He was very responsive if we had any questions. Thanks again Gary for a great time.

Cozy cabin, lots of wildlife & easy water access

A fun little cabin, juke box & games, we sang along, played & laughed so much. Very functional kitchen & owner was a gem - back at the house within half hour when the grill had no gas! Was myself, husband & two young adult kids, enough space we had some down time from the "togetherness" when needed. Lake is great, neighbors are lovely.

Garys Cabins

Beautiful Place, Gary's Cabin we rented, was Awesome ! It's location is picturesque. Quiet setting, peaceful, comfortable,etc. it has everything you could want. I hope we have a chance to come back, this year, if not we'll definitely be back next year.

Lovely pizza smells as we entered. Host kindly popped it in the oven prior to arrival. Pretty chandelier. Did not stay for full length of rental, but enjoyed full moon while walking my dog.

Our stay at the Love Shack

My husband and I wanted a few days away . Gary's cabin is the place to relax and refresh . We went when the air quality was compromised . Aside for a drive of the area , we stayed inside . There was no lack of things to keep us entertained . The decorative items topped by the crystal chandelier made this place a magical place to stay

White Lake 1913 Love Shack

The Love Shack is a wonderful getaway, as long as you welcome vintage decor. The juke box was great to enjoy while playing board games. Foosball was a blast from the past and provided laughs galore! The owner provided a ready to light fire and even a pizza upon arrival. The couches (one with 2 built in recliners) and beds were comfortable. Outdoor firepit and ping-pong a plus.

Loved the place!

I was looking for a long weekend getaway and came across this listing. I opted for this log cabin over the glamping experience because it was in a quiet area, near a body of water and offered all the commodities that my husband was looking for. Really, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We only had to bring food, because everything else was readily available. You had the outdoors (fire pit, grill, forest, lake) and the indoors (AC, TV, WiFi). The added perks were the foosball, ping pong table and the jukebox. We enjoyed great music.Gary is a great host. I am so happy with my experience, I can’t wait to plan for the next visit to this cabin. My kids didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely Fabulous

My husband and I went to see my son for the weekend. Gary greeted us on arrival with a warm cozy fire and a pizza in the oven. It was so unexpected and so thoughtful. Gary showed us around. the beds where very comfortable and I loved the Bamboo sheets. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was also a great location for the things we had planned. Thanks for sharing your cabin. we are looking forward to returning for more adventures in the Catskills.

Quaint but Cramped

Host Gary met us at check-in and started a fire, which was welcome on a chilly day. Nice views of lake and near Bethel Woods Center for Arts and Woodstock museum. Cabin had whimsical touches, however, housekeeping may not have been ready for season start. Spider and web behind door, dusty shelves, rumpled sheets. Skylight in one bedroom needs a shade, and blinds in that bedroom didn't close for us.

White Lake Awesomeness!

My family and I were looking for a cozy cabin in White Lake to spend our Winter Break getaway. Gary’s cabin fit the bill perfectly! He met us when we arrived and even had a pizza baking for us in the oven! Everything was clean and in order. The fireplace was great and there was plenty of firewood. The kitchen was well appointed and served us well. The weather didn’t allow for us to use the outdoor ping pong table. But we certainly loved playing foosball in the front room. Despite being quite cold outside, the heat worked well and made for a perfect stay.

Horseback riding, go down the the Delaware on a raft. Rent a boat or kayak on the lake. A very quiet 200-acre quiet community you can walk around with your pet, your boyfriend or Husband or all 3 . 2 firer places one inside one outside free firewood. Wine trails, antique trails. It's a hide out.
