The home features two separate living areas on the main level, another gathering space in the upstairs bedroom, and another in the garage loft suite. The dining table can seat 6 with nearby kitchen bar seating for 3. The high-end kitchen has everything you need including a double oven, blender, instant pot, gribble toaster, mixer and electric tea kettle. In-floor heat and a wood burning fireplace will keep you warm on cool nights.

Bonus features of this home include lots of indoor and outdoor seating/gathering areas, ping pong table in the garage, shuffleboard in garage loft suite, sauna in the upstairs bedroom area, desk/chair in the lower-level bedroom, washer/dryer.

LOCATION: This home is located appx 30 minutes from downtown Durango, 20 minutes from Bayfield, and 25 minutes from the marina at Lake Vallecito. The road leading to the home is steep. There is a security camera facing the driveway and main entrance of the home.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

NO PETS: Pets are not permitted at this home.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

VRC CANCELLAION POLICY: If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 60 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than sixty (60) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. We do offer travel insurance.
