This is a very comfortable and well equipped shorefront cottage, the perfect place for a family gathering-great spot as a base for exploring the lakes region of Southern Maine. Nice, big open kitchen/living/dining great room overlooking the lake. Small beach area, sandy bottom swimming. Three bedrooms - Sleeps 7 in beds. plus add'l sleeping on futon in the great room. One bath w/shower plus half bath. Lovely lake views. Level lot. Boat launch nearby. Deck, dock and mooring. Canoe available-bring your own life jackets. DOG CONSIDERED WITH $125 PET FEE-
Waterfront/Lot Description: Level, partially wooded lot with 90' of frontage and sandy beach. Dock and mooring. Dock, yes. NO BOATS CAN BE LEFT ON THE DOCK.

Enjoyed our stay on Highland Lake. The camp was clean and ready for occupancy. Lake water was clean and refreshing. Parking was excellent- very close to the camp.

The house is older but the lake being “right there” was wonderful! The access to the lake was awesome. The dock and canoe is great. The house is older (the listing is completely accurate) but has an open concept which is great. The host was wonderful- extremely responsive and helpful!

Our July Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday House on Highland lake. The house had beautiful wood beams and an open floor concept. Our family really enjoyed sitting on the dock and taking trips in the canoe. The water was warm and the sandy bottom was a plus. Downtown was a short drive where we walked around and visited the local shops and the local restaurants were great. Would highly recommend this cottage.
