Totally unique experience
We booked this as the tail end of a fall trip starting in Boston and ending in Maine near Acadia and this was the gem of the entire vacation. The experience felt like high end glamping for the adults and my daughter loved the loft and the tub and the chickens and outdoor games. 100 percent would recommend and come back again.

Amazing!!
This was the most amazing experience. We had so much fun. The yurt was even more beautiful than the photos and we will definitely be back! Can’t recommend this yurt enough.

Excellent place to stay
A beautiful location. The yurt was great. Plenty of kitchen supplies for 4 people. (Microwave is outside in the additional seating area). 2 rooms were comfortable. There are no ceilings so there isn’t bedroom sound privacy. The bathroom was beautiful and the bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc) were appreciated. Easy to use washer/dryer. It was damp while we were there so we didn’t have a fire, but we did enjoy the communal gas fire in the center of the property. There is a rooster next door that may help you wake up in the morning and get ready for your next hike. Very responsive hosts. Really appreciated there were no complicated check out instructions.

Retirement Celebration in Arcadia
We absolutely loved our stay in Acadia Wilderness Lodge located in Tremont. The surroundings were beautiful, our Yurt was large and beautifully decorated with every amenity we needed. Every night there was a group fire to sit around and chat which helped decompress at the end of the day. This location was perfect for us to visit everything we wanted to see on our list with easy access in and out. I want to thank Kenya for her excellent communication in providing us with all the details from the moment we booked until we departed. This made our stay stress free. We would come again with our extended family and have already recommended it to our friends. Thank you, Valerie.

Cute Yurt Village
The yurt and small village is adorable. Looks to be brand new and extremely clean. The yurt had two bedrooms which provided some privacy but noise privacy does not exist. The walls of the bedrooms don’t reach the top and therefore if anyone is watching tv in the living room, everyone can hear it as if they are watching it themselves. They do provide ear plugs but I couldn’t wear them to sleep otherwise I wouldn’t have heard my alarm in the morning. The village has a big fire pit which is really nice to sit around in the evenings. There is a game area with torches around it at night. You can collect eggs from their chicken coop if you wish to cook. There is a rooster not on property that will be an early morning wake up call. (Another reason for ear plugs). There is a resident cat who is super friendly and loves attention. Except for yurt #8, you have to park in a parking lot and lug your luggage to your yurt. We were in yurt #1 and had quite a walk trying to pull heavy suitcases through rock paths. We were given a code to the yurt door which made it easy to get in. We arrived around 6pm and no one was there to greet us. We didn’t see or meet anyone working there the three nights we stayed which was a bit weird. I will say we were gone most of the time so we might have just missed them. Location is in the middle of nowhere. You have to drive to Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor or Bar Harbor for supplies and meals.
