Olympic Condo - Whiteface Club Resort - Views - Jackrabbit Trail - STR 200356

Olympic Resort Condominiums were built in the late 1970’s to be used specifically for housing the competing athletes in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Olympic Condo was recently remodeled to include two bedrooms and one bath with an open floor plan that offers golf course and mountain views, a dining area, well equipped kitchen, living area and glass sliders leading to a covered balcony.
Whiteface Club & Resort on the shore of Lake Placid lake offers amenities for the whole family on a fee basis including a full-service Marina, two restaurants, an 18-hole Championship golf course, 6 clay Tennis courts, hiking and biking trails. Winter offers cross country skiing on groomed trails through the golf course, back country skiing on the Jackrabbit trail system, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing.
The resort is a short two-mile drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid for exploring the Olympic venues, shopping and restaurants. Nine miles to Whiteface Mountain for skiing, mountain biking during the summer months or taking a gondola ride to see the views of the Adirondack wilderness. Cross Country Ski at the Olympic Complex/Mt. Vanhoevenberg, try a Bobsled or Luge run on the original Olympic tracks or Ice Skate on the Olympic Oval. Lake Placid has it all.

Main street is few minutes away by car. Managed by property owner, very accessible.

4 Hemlock Way was a great location and a comfortable stay. The place was as nice as the photos show. There were plenty of closet space and a dresser to really unpack. There was air conditioning in the living room with a few fans to draw the air into the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The hosts were great at getting back to us when we had a question. We certainly would return to this location!

This condo is an absolute gem - it is incredibly clean and well-kept. It is so cozy and comfortable. The views all around are gorgeous. The owner is very easy to communicate with and was a pleasure to deal with. We've been to Lake Placid a number of times but now can't imagine staying anywhere else. Looking forward to our next visit.
