Beautiful condo and views. Quiet and peaceful. Very nice inside - no complaints! Having the General Store on the main floor was a huge plus since it rained quite a bit while we were there.

This condo was perfect. Beach front with spectacular views from the balcony and could hear the waves crashing. Top floor and at end of the building felt secluded and was excellent, no noise from any side. We'll equipped condo with everything we needed for cooking meals, left overs. Price was fair. Location was great. Pool and workout facilities. Canoe rentals and mini mart store on property. The public beach right there is great for snorkeling around the lava rocks early morning before the surf kicks up. Seen a lot of marine life including moray eel, turtles, and 4 days out of 7 with a visit from a monk seal. Great place and host.

Great location and amazing view!

The condo was in a good location right by a great beach and close to restaurants and shopping. We loved the pool as well. Great views of the ocean. The condo was just right for our family of 4.

Mana Kai

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. Amazing proximity to the ocean. The pool was also great. We were able to rent body boards and 808 convenience store had plenty of drinks / food. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect!

This property was perfect! This visit was my families first trip to Hawaii! We were so pleased with the location; we could choose to explore Kihei or Wailea with only a short drive! The space was large and the views incredible. Also, the grassy lawn before the beach reduced the sand on the beach towels and stayed cool.

Maui 2023

We always stay at the Mana Kai because we love the location but almost always in different condos. This unit did not disappoint. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and we cook nearly every meal, and out teenage daughters loved the twin beds. We would stay here again.

February 2025 stay

Great stay in this condo. Have stayed at mana kai several times before, its a great location with views, great beach, gym, etc. Unit is a nicely renovated unit. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Beds and furniture was comfortable. Only slight knock, TV was very small and not a smart TV (,so no streaming). Wasnt a big issue for us but could be for a family that wanted that.But overall I'd recommend this condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is very good. Easy 2 minute access to the beach. The accommodations are a bit tired. For the cost per night it really needs the broken tiles and other updates, has some miles on it. Now that said it is comfortable.

Management team were very responsive when safe “died” with all our things inside! I’d give them a 10

Overall good, disappointing that restaurant not in service. Condo feels a little warn, nice kitchen, big pull out cabinet feels like is going to fall out when used. Linens nice.

Nothing compares to the Mana Kai and this room is one of our favorites! It was immaculate. You can tell care was involved in furnishing it intentionally. Management was quick to respond to questions and kind. The beach hairs and extra towels were handy. The only drawback is that if you were staying with four people you might want extra closet space but since we had the place to ourselves (just my husband and I), there was more than enough space between the two rooms.

Overall, the space met our needs and it is actually even cuter in person. The patio had a great view and it was relaxing to have our coffee out there in the morning. Management was also very communicative via text. The negatives: The first room closest to the front door is a little dingy and its bathroom is very small. Our Wi-Fi was not working properly and there were many roaches in the building’s laundry room. I don’t think I’d stay here again because of that.

Aloha Sadie, Thank you so much for your review. I am sorry the wifi was spotty, there is a 2nd network for the back bedroom, the login information is located on the welcome card inside the bedroom. Our apologies you had difficulties with this, we are available through text and a cell number printed on the welcome letter. The unit is scheduled for a few upgrades moving forward. The unit size is the same throughout the building. Lastly, just to ensure everyone is clear, the laundry room is located about 7 units away from this one (i.e. the laundry room is not in the unit but rather in a segregated area). Sadly this is also the same location as the recycling, and it has been noted that people do not rinse their recycling out.

Can't beat the Mana Kai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Mana Kai for 5 years, the location and amenities that they offer are hard to beat. Having the 808 Grocery downstairs along with on site rental for equipment makes it so convenient. The restaurant is under renovations and a much needed change. Unit 815 was well appointed with towels, kitchen supplies, clean and exactly as advertised. We unfortunately experienced AC issues that were mentioned in prior comments. It seems that the unit in the main room is not able to keep up. The bedroom unit worked great. All in all, highly recommend #815.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been visiting Maui for over 20 years. The Mana Kai is one of my favorite places to stay. The crashing waves are the last thing you hear at night and the first thing you hear in the morning. The unobstructed view from this unit is stunning. Since this unit is on the top floor, the second bedroom also has an unobstructed ocean view unlike lower units that are partially blocked by the neighboring building. Since this is an end unit, there is no walkway outside the second bedroom window so you can leave the curtains open and enjoy the view. (Center units have a walkway and other guests have to walk past your window to get to their units.)This unit was clean and comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with nice quality pans and knives. I cooked dinner three nights and just sat on the lanai to enjoy the sunset.I will definitely seek out this unit next time I have a chance to stay at the Mana Kai.
