* HHK 202 property was Excellent. We felt very safe, learned quickly that its quiet, respectful place, mostly families couples that are there for a quick vacation. The kitchen was stocked w basics. We did pack some food items fr home knowing it was going to be expensive. IE cereal, soup, mac n' cheese, spaghetti, bagels, coffee, candy, etc. no ketchup, mustard, mayo if you need those- bring them. There are 6 beach chairs & 1 boogie board. We quickly learned the trades come around noonish - 1pm where the beach becomes very windy with sand blowing in your face, sun umbrella blow away, so we planned our beach time early. We took the most beautiful, gorgeous walks on the beach! We covered the couch with a blanket to protect it and put some of the breakables away, just in case. AC was nice! We shut sliders &windows and turned on the ac to cool off and watch a movie. TV is smart, log in with your PW and you're good to go. Just a small problem w the master bath toilet. It kept running & wasting water, so we turned it off. We did not think of reporting right away, as we were on the move, everyday doing stuff. If we did, I know the property mgmt would have fixed it. The 2nd bathroom could use some shelves for items as the counter is not very big. We were putting items on a chair and some were on top of the toilet, w 2 teen girls it was challenging. Def coming back. ****Thank you 202, we had a fabulous vacation****

So nice to have such a great beach right out front, good snorkeling, saw turtles, good boogie boarding … 5 palms in the near by hotel was under renovations so no happy bar to walk to. We did walk down to the Wailea beach walk and Uber-ed back… we would book again

The property is great, the location is excellent. The communication with the managers was super easy. The only problem we had during our stay - there was not a single sharp knife to cut a watermelon. This is only one improvement that we can think of. Thank you!

Perfect piece of paradise

We have stayed in this complex a dozen times but never this unit which I would say is by far my favorite so far. The kitchen was fully stocked and updated. There were plenty of chairs for our group, coolers and an umbrella. We were surprised to find a welcome basket of fruit which was a nice touch! The management kept us informed of complex maintenance and checked on us throughout our stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Clean and comfortable

Clean and spacious for our family of four plus Grandma. The location is amazing, close to Kihei as well as Wailea. We saw Turtles in the shallow water every day! Enjoyed snorkeling right outside the property. In the past we have stayed further south in Wailea. This property is on the same famous beach, Keawakapu, that we enjoy so much. Some beach toys and four beach chairs, plus umbrellas and beach towels. Great value!

Family vacation

The property is old and it needs to be updated. the bathroom are the original and the screens have never been cleaned so opening the windows did not help that The hole place smells of mildew. On a positive note the local is outstanding! Beach is great!

This property is a hidden gem . Right on the keawakapu beach with views for days . The condo is very comfortable with AC in each room . It was well equipped to prepare meals throughout our stay . Had a problem with non functioning stove and property management was there first thing in the morning to replace it . Very responsive in all of my communications. The meeting with other guest on the Lanai for happy hour and watching the sunsets made it a very welcoming place . Enjoy !

Well equipped unit in great location

The unit and complex are a bit dated, but the location right on Keawakapu Beach is fantastic. The unit is in the back of the complex overlooking the dumpsters, parking lot and street rather than beach, so there isn't much of an ocean view -- just a narrow strip between the complex and house next door --- but the common lanai, pool, grounds and beach are only 100 or so steps away. We spent a lot of time lounging out there rather than on our own lanai. The unit's bedrooms are quite small, but the furniture is comfortable and in good condition, the kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of beach equipment (chairs, snorkel gear, toys, etc.) is provided. The property managers were in constant touch before and during our trip, and maintenance responded promptly to a couple of minor issues (toilets running, etc.) that cropped up. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, and would happily return.
