This beautifully remodeled home, decorated with an artist’s eye, will delight your senses and be a quiet and inspiring spot to spend your vacation in The City Different. The wonderful new RailYard district is just a 10' walk, the historic Santa Fe Plaza is just another 10' farther. The Plaza and Canyon Road are both a 5' drive or less.

This year has brought over $10,000 in improvements to the property including new high-capacity LG washer and dryer, finer bed linens and luxury pillows, 3 beautiful oriental rugs, higher fencing for even greater privacy, new additions to the art and sculpture collection, and a simplified and improved TV experience. The 2nd bedroom can be set up as a beautiful and luxurious bedroom or as a spacious art studio with ample northern light.

The space is light and bright with skylights and French doors to the outdoor living and dining garden from the bedrooms and living room. Exterior walls are solid earth and stone; windows are double- and triple- paned. The warm, evocative lighting and wood-burning fireplace create a magical ambience for romantic evenings.

2 bedrooms, 2 baths, jacuzzi tub, office/painting/music studio, living room, large kitchen. The open-concept living and kitchen area are great for entertaining. Occupancy up to 4 persons.

The house has no stairs inside or out for easy accessibility.

This place worked perfect for seeing Santa Fe. Close to restaurants and Old Town Santa Fe for site seeing. We went to the Balloon Fiesta 2 days and it was only an hour away. We hiked in the mountains one day.We loved all the artwork and furnishings in their home and the patio is pleasant and peaceful. GREAT PLACE !

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Agreed, rail yard and plaza may not be such a pleasant walk in January. However most guests love the new direct access path to rail yard and farmers’ market: 10-15 minutes on foot depending on your pace, or a quick few minutes by bike with no busy streets to cross. Even closer - my favorite New Mexican restaurant, La Choza, and local favorite the Tune-Up Cafe. Come back when it’s warmer and enjoy a stroll!

Delighted you enjoyed your stay! Puzzling that you found the lighting dim. Other guests have described it as “elegant" and “thoughtful". There is an abundance of natural light in all main rooms during the day. There are ceiling lights and multiple lamps in every room and nearly all overhead lights are on dimmers, providing more light than needed after dark. There is a box of light bulbs available if you need higher wattage bulbs for any lamp. Instead of letting us know through these reviews that you found anything problematic with the property, we ask all guests to let us know about any issues immediately so we can address them right away.

Amazing property and host!!

This gorgeous, centrally located home felt like a visit hosted by a dear friend. Gorgeous Christmas decorations, warm and welcoming ambience and well stocked in all areas. The home was so nicely decorated plus plush amenities I truly felt like we were staying with a dear friend. Location is excellent for activities in town center, museums, shops and restaurants as well as visiting the pueblos. We felt like locals, not tourists. We will definitely be back!!!

Sweet, cozy, comfortable, and quiet.

We (2 couples) loved our stay in this quiet, beautiful abode. Nice walk to the rail yard and downtown, easy drive to Trader Joe’s, pleasant walk to Tune-up Cafe (a must!) Just a really great property with a gem of a caretaker; Rose is the best, as is the owner -so responsive and helpful. We were in the master bedroom: the king bed was wonderful; nice shower. The washer/dryer and dishwasher were quiet and worked well. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Santa Fe has a charm and 'vibe' that is addictive - one of the most artistically stimulating places in the world - the natural beauty, native Hispanic and Native American heritage, and lovely people permeate this place with positive, creative energy. I bought this house and renovated it thinking I would move back to Santa Fe permanently. Although my work has taken me elsewhere, this house is a treasure and I love to share it. My primary work has been the restoration and renovation of the interiors of several historic churches including the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis 1 block from the historic Santa Fe Plaza as well as San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church on the plaza in Old Town Albuquerque.
