Great area for hiking and biking. Very close to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail , Range Area Mountain Biking Association Trail network and Al Quall Trail network, all free of charge. Twelve miles from the Noquemenon Trail network (near Marquette). Trail 8 is close by made for orv's and snowmobiles. You can travel to all corners of the U.P. from it. Awesome fishing and hunting area with scores of Streams and Lakes nearby. You can fish for brook trout, panfish or walleye. You can hunt ruffed grouse, rabbits, deer or blackbear on thousands of acres of state land nearby. Super quiet neighborhood except for the noisy Geese on the Lake. A Fire pit and BBQ grill are in the privacy fenced in backyard. The Covered porch overlooks the Lake. Bedrooms and living room have great views of the lake as well. Peace and tranquility are yours. I look forward to being your host.

This was just the right spot for our 1-night stop on our family road trip. Quiet street, comfy beds, fenced in backyard for the dog. Would stay here again.
It was perfect for our group of 5 and chihuahua! The backyard was perfect for him to run around in and the inside was so cozy and perfect for chatting and watching movies. Bob was awesome at answering our questions and made us feel very welcome :)
Cottage was just as pictured. The cottage was very clean, and supplied sufficiently. Bob was a great host, left us stuff for waffles and bread to use. What a kind gesture, the grandkids loved them. Would like to come back in the summer, to see the lake.

Lisa was a perfect guest. They are welcome here at any time.
The owner Bob answered his phone right away and was readily available to help with anything! We even had fresh peaches sitting on the kitchen counter it was such a perfect visit! I highly recommend it! My husband and I and our two sons stayed there and we had more than enough room ! Everything you need is there !
Bob has a beautiful spot on Bancroft Lake. Easy access to get to Marquette as we were visiting NMU, enjoyed the Ishpeming area as well.
The fenced yard was great for our small dog.
We will return to this cottage in the future!
Like staying at a family members property, but better. Notes left by owner were appreciated and helpful. Owner left fresh fruit and ingredients for waffles. Great experience, very clean property. Exactly what we were looking for as an alternative to staying in a hotel.
I rented this house for my sister and I to visit with her grown children and their families while leaf peeping in the U.P. The house was great. We had a very nice stay. The owner is exceptional.
This is a great house for a couple or a family. Bob is an amazing host. You literally only need to show up with your toothbrush. The house is very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are in town.
