Our stay was perfect. The location, the accommodations, all of it was wonderful. We appreciate the plethora of available towels for a large group, the linens were lovely, and the little extras throughout the house (guidebooks, games, s’mores kit, etc.) were great. We’re a friend group of locals who rent a house together each summer to float the river and this has been our favorite thus far. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Family Trip to Redwoods

Such an amazing location- so close to Jedediah Smith. The house was cozy and incredibly clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy river access! Loved listening to birds and the river drinking our coffee in AM. Nikki was such a great host- quick and responsive. Perfect stay for our family (kids 5 and 7). Would absolutely stay again!

This property is amazing! Beautiful, clean home, decorated at Pinterest level, with the sounds, view and access to the Smith River. The layout of the house was spacious for the eight of us, and we really enjoyed the surprise of little extras. Loved the open kitchen and amenities, which is an important feature for our health challenged family. Even though it was set right off of the highway, it felt very private and secluded. Visited the trail off of Walker Road, the beaches and restaurants of Crescent city, and Trees of Mystery in Klamath. Communication with the host and check in and out was a smooth process. Hoping to book another day in the area again!

The Smith River in the backyard is beautiful, though it's moving so quickly that you can't really get in it. 10 minutes from some of the best Redwoods hikes. House is nice and we'll kept.

Awesome location and property. We went with 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Crescent city is only a short 20 minute ride if you need to get into town. There is fishing and hiking just minutes away from the location and not to mention the river that is in the backyard. Nikki was a great host and communication was amazing. Overall 10/10 experience. House is clean and well appointed and comfortable. However our group did not like the Glade plug-ins in every room. I unplugged all of them when we arrived. We loved this house. It was clean, open, and very welcoming. The suggestion would be is put a by garage with the address. Its hard to find in the dark. My family enjoyed the river, hoping there would have been more river toys. But we made it work. We werent prepared with food. I thought the market in Gasquet would have had items. Beautiful Off the Beaten Path

What a great location right on the Smith River, the pictures don’t really do it justice. There is a house next door but you never see those folks and you basically have that stretch of river to yourself for the kids to goof around in the water. The house is clean and had most of what we needed and then some. Could have used more pillows on the beds and we had to buy olive oil, but aside from that the kitchen is well stocked with spices and utensils. We were very pleasantly surprised with a s’mores set up waiting for us when we arrived. Very short driving distance to lots of great hikes and outdoor activities. And being inland where it is its quite a bit warmer and sunnier than 20 mins away on the coast. We’ll be back. Thanks for some great memories!
