Boatslip! Flora-Bama! New Kitchen & Bathroom. Outdoor Bar Area

Guests: Please note the cleaning fee has increased. We have been doing the cleaning "in house" for the past 7 years. We are now turning it over to a professional company and the rate has unfortunately gone up.

Private home across the street from the beach. Riverfront with boat and RV slip for you to use during your stay.

Nestled on the white, sandy beaches of Perdido Key, this is the ultimate beach house. Upstairs there is a large living room with two pull-out couches, two bedrooms, a loft with two full beds, a full kitchen, and a bathroom. Downstairs is a separate apartment with a king bed, bathroom, and laundry room. No beach getaway is complete without plenty of outdoor living space. Upstairs has a large wrap around porch with a 360 degree view of beautiful Perdido Key, Ole River, Ono Island, and Orange Beach. Downstairs there is a huge covered outdoor space perfect for reading, boiling shrimp, grilling out, or just getting out of the sun for a few minutes. There is also a large uncovered deck and a pier over Ole River with fish cleaning station and a boat slip large enough for any center console. The driveway extends alongside the house and has a 30amp hookup for a motor home or RV.

The beach is easily accessible and there is a chair rental station just across the street. Also within walking distance is the World famous Flora-Bama Lounge, the Flora-Bama Yacht Club, the new Ole River Bar, the Flora-Bama Lounge and Package, a Waffle House (exciting, right??), and a couple of gas stations.

Perfect beach getaway

This little beach house was so cute & fun. It had great views of the bay and an easy walk to the gulf. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The deck & outside bar were perfect for our morning coffee and sunset cocktails. We can’t wait to go back.

This place is perfect for a family vacation. The house is spacious and has everything you need. We fished and crabbed from the dock. (cooked and ate our catch) Of course went to the beach (5 minute walk) Played games at the downstairs bar area. Rented a pontoon near by(great people!), docked at our location for loading, cruised and saw stingrays and dolphins and visited swimming areas. We kayacked, canoed and longboarded around the river. We will be back often:) Owner is a pleasure to deal with! Highly recomend this rental.

I will have to admit that when it comes to Summersaltz I am biased! We have visited here often and it just does not get much better than this home. It has everything you need right there. You could literally never leave the house and have a great vacation! Swim, Boat, Kayak, Paddleboard, Jet Ski, Crab, Fish, play games, cook and eat, relax, party....the list goes on. It has everything you need. Add to that its very central location to...well everything in the area and you have the perfect spot. Our family will be back soon!! Thanks to the Saltz's for sharing this wonderful home.

If your looking for a clean stay, look elsewhere.

The property is close to everything and has everything you need to enjoy a fun vacation! However, there were some issues with the cleanliness during our stay. There were dead bugs behind the doors and under the beds looked like they had not been swept under in ages. The kitchen fridge was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I found a used condom in our bedding during our 2nd day stay. I’m thankful I’m the one that found it and not one of our children! I wrote the owner an email after returning back from vacation to let him know we were unsatisfied with the cleanliness. We had paid a cleaning fee for a clean house to stay in, that wasn’t clean at all. The owner replied he would gladly refund us our cleaning fee. However, no refund has been received & there has been no communication from him since he offered us a refund. I’d look elsewhere if your looking for a clean place to bring your family for a vacation.

Wat an AMAZING house!

This is hands down one of the best vacations I have experienced in a while :) The house if full of the items needed to complete your vacation without the stress of having to purchase those "extras" in order to have the vacation you planned. There is everything from grills to burners for a crawfish or shrimp boil. I spent most of my time during the week in the recliner by the waters edge. It was so relaxing to work from here on the wifi that reaches all the way to the end of the pier! I am a virtual teacher and this was a wonderful place to mix a little work and jump in the boat every evening to take that sunset ride from our own private dock :) If you have a boat, don' t leave it at home! You will not be dissappointed! This house has plenty of bankets and bedding for the rooms as well as the pull out couches, pots and pans, spices, washer and dryer, 2 refrigerators( the gas grill is not really an option because it needs a new grate; however, the charcoal grill was perfect), a wonderful bar and grill area under the house, 2 tv's in the bar area as well as 2 large shop fans mounted to the roof in the bar area for plenty of air on those summer days, fantastic lighting, one bathroom upstairs where the two bedrooms and loft are located, one bathroom in the master suite downstairs which is very nice along with a flat screen tv of it's own, one outside bathroom located in the bar area which has a shower as well, a nice pinic table on a deck built adjacent to the bar area, a nice sundeck with hammocks and recliners( beware because one of the wooden recliners is broken but the rest are fine :), a paddle board with a paddle which is more difficult than it looks... haha(yes...I tried that! It was fun! ), a kayak with a paddle( I could not find the sling back seat to it but it worked ok ), the ice machine is broken but I spoke with the owner and he already has another one to put in it's place, crab baskets, beach toys for the kiddos, a few beach chairs, kids dip nets, 2 small fishing poles, etc....there are so many items it is hard to remember! The owner is friendly, very informative, and prompt. If you are looking for relaxaion at a great price in a wonderful locaton, this is THE PLACE TO BE :) Thanks Grant! My family had a wonderful time:)

Very special-one of a kind beach house

We felt like the owners just invited us in! What's theirs was ours. What an amazing, fun place. The downstairs bar/grilling space, boardwalks, hammocks, dock and beautiful riverfront was perfect for my husband's week-long birthday celebration. Past visitors left messages on the bar posts. The outside bathroom has a urinal made from a keg. It goes on and on. Would love to meet our hosts, the special family who built this vacation home. Really guys, you have to see Summer Saltz!
