We had an amazing stay. We had 6 adults and never felt crowded. There were games and an ample space to relax and enjoy. The beach was just down the road.Restaurants and amenities were close. We went to Solvang and Santa Barbara which were within 90 minutes. There neighbors and Nona were very friendly and kind. Thanks Mark and Joyce!

Staying at Mark's place made for a perfect weekend. The neighborhood is quiet, made of mostly locals and the beach was pretty empty. Our family loved how close the house was to the beach and that everyone had a little space for themselves when needed. Definitely would stay here again. If you are planning on staying between September and April there might be sea lions lounging on the beach.

Hello Kali, Yes, we have wonderful neighbors and we do our best to be good neighbors in return which means we only allow guests to stay at our home whom we believe will also be good neighbors. Your family certainly fit that bill. We'll remain family friendly so long as 'kids' are as respectful as your two daughters and three sons. Your Hosts, Mark & Joyce

Hello Peggy, We also love our floor plan as it allows different generations or groups of friends to enjoy their own space, so we're thrilled it worked so well for your family. That late afternoon balcony view of the beach is definitely one of our favorite spots, too! We truly enjoyed hosting you and hope to welcome you back on your next trip to the coast. This place had nothing negative to review. Property was great, neighborhood is our favorite and we had 0 issues here. I am particularly picky when it comes to kitchens and how they are stocked; this kitchen had every single thing I needed and was looking for. I will definitely look to stay here again.

Hello Mark, We arrived at our beach home the day you departed. It was very clean and obviously well taken care of. Yes, we enjoy our kitchen as well. Tonight we will be purchasing locally caught fish for dinner and will be BBQing it. Weather should be perfect for grilling on the rear deck! A little butter, lemon & seasoning ... mmmmmm. We do hope you and your family return again soon. Your Hosts, Mark & Joyce

Thank You Val & Don for your month's long stay at our home. While you were at our beach home, we were at a VRBO home in Michigan City, Ind. near Lake Michigan for a family reunion. It was a lovely home with one more bedroom and one more bath than our home. Now call me bias, but our house has larger common areas, amenities and much closer to the beach all for $350/night. Our Michigan City house was almost $2000/night. Go figure? At any rate, we hope you and your family com visit us again soon. Your Hosts, Mark & Joyce
